Joseph Grosso showed my fiancé and I an apartment, we immediately asked for an application, only for him to ignore us for +24 hours, and despite an eventual phone conversation, still never sent the document, but instead told us the apartment was already leased by a couple who saw it after us (despite us offering more money). There’s a lot of sleezy real estate agents in nyc, but this guy really was even worse, couldn’t even do his job. Worst communication ever. At least we didn’t give him the $8k brokers fee ha

I was so kindly assigned a racist of a real estate broker named Irene Sarri. I made my way all the way to queens from Harlem just to be insulted by this woman's very clear prejudice approach of her clients. Irene did not make any attempt to introduce herself upon meeting me. Additionally, she invited a couple that arrived AFTER me perhaps because they appeared more moneyed to her. When Irene finally decided that it was my turn, she didn't even bother holding the gate open for me although it was apparent I was struggling to get my stroller through the entryway. When I finally made it inside the apartment, she remained glued to her phone texting away as if she couldn't care less about my existence. I felt the extreme contrast in her warmth towards the couple as oppose to my child and I. At the end of my visit, I expressed to her my disappointment in a very pointed and professional way, and Irene had the audacity to smirk through it all as though my clear frustration with her lack of attention and unprofessional demeanor was a delusion.

I was looking for a very specific type of apartment in Brooklyn. I worked with Lisa Pierre, and she was great. I signed the lease for the first apartment we visited! A broker from a different company actually tried to discourage me from my search, can you imagine? Lisa was eager to help and she adapted to my style and needs. We spent a couple weeks before the actual search communicating online and looking at what was coming to market, so she'd get a good idea of what I wanted. After about 20 options or so, it was time to get real. She sent me 4 options, we visited 2, and signed the first. It was that simple! I hope I don't need to search for another apartment any time soon, but if I do, I'll be calling Lisa again.

I was put in touch with Antony Bitar of this company and he pulled a bait and switch on me and I was so constricted on time I didn't see it happening. When I checked later, Anotny Bitar has done this in the past in various agencies. Proceed with caution if you use this company, check agent background or at least this Antony Bitar.
