My wife and I have been working on a deal with MBA Reality Group since May 2012 We signed paperwork and left a $500.00 earnest deposit. We made an offer the offer was turned down. We waited a few more months and tried again at a higher amount this offer was countered from the seller. We came back and requested to have our builder walk through the house with us. This is where we feel we were taken advantage of by our real estate office and broker Brook MacNee. My wife and I finally came to the point where we asked our agent Joyce Reedy if we could have our builder Al Darren do a walk through with us. Joyce informed us that the seller was out of town and would not do any business till she returned. However Joyce was able to get the keys from Brook MacNee the seller’s agent at 2:00 pm. Monday July 16 2012. We had our builder walk through by 3:00 pm. Al Darren informed us that he needed the rest of the day to figure out what needed to be done. At that time I was unaware that Al also worked for MBA Reality Group. I agreed. The next morning BEFORE I GOT THE CHANCE TO HEAR BACK FROM AL and after working the deal with my agent for 3 months!!! I get a call from my agent that the listing agent Brook Mcnee was dealing with the seller behind her back and the seller accepted a offer on the house before I could accept the deal that was offered to me. For less than what I was going to accept as the selling price. I find out she sold it to one of her "INVESTORS” that has purchased multiple houses from her office. This gaveBrook both the buyers and sellers commissions1 My agent said she wanted to pack her bags and quit because this was the 2nd time Brook did this to her? Now it gets better....Today I got a call from a friend informing me that this house is up for sale again 3 months after the sale. It's for sale with the same seller. Go Figure??? My problem is that I signed an agreement with this Reality Group to have my interest in mind and I feel this was not at all their objective. I’ve requested all the documents showing my offers and to this point I have not received anything from this office. Brook knew our offered without the inspection and she put that offer in along with her and her investors at $1,000.00 more. She should have given us the opportunity to do the walkthrough that we were given the keys to do. In addition I’m not sure if my builder was buying time for her to line up the deal behind our back with the seller. Today she has this same house up for sale AGAIN for $100,000 more than it sold for in October? And to make things worse I have not heard from my agent to tell me it’s up for sale again? To me this is not ethical business. I feel I have been cheated. Last price change January 13, 2013 I would not do business with them again unless my attorney did it for me!!!
