Buying our first home was a daunting process, but I was lucky when I found Mike! From our first conversation, he was attentive and dedicated to finding us exactly what we were looking for. We had no idea what we wanted, but he was patient and provided us guidance when needed - he was never pushy and he always took the time to explain absolutely everything to us. Eventually when we narrowed down what we were looking for, Mike would send us the perfect options. We are a busy couple, but Mike always found time for a call, text, or email. When we were ready to put in our first offer, Mike made sure that we negotiated a fair price (under asking!) and stuck within our budget. He advocated for us and we ended up scoring the perfect house on our first try. Even when we moved in, Mike has been there to answer any questions or pop by to help us settle in. I would highly recommend Mike for your buying (or selling!) needs :)

Excellent experience for first-time home buyers - and negotiated well under asking for us! My wife and I were new homeowners, and struggling to find a real estate agent who had the time, patience, and persistence to work with us. We were traveling from Toronto to do our weekly viewings, so packing in a lot of high-potential houses into one afternoon was very important. Mike explained the process well to us, worked hard to understand what our 'perfect home' looked and felt like (even when we hadn't fully figured that out), and eventually found us several great options that fit our requirements. He was able to steer us away from the overpriced homes, and eventually negotiated a steep discount off the asking price of the house we purchased. If you want a person, assistant, and negotiator, as opposed to automated e-mails of recent listings, then give Mike a call. He's motivated, smart, and patient.

I am a first time home buyer who was looking to buy a property in Waterloo. I met Mike Bolger at a charity event in Kitchener where I took his card. A month later, I decided to work with him to help me buy home. Mike met up with me quickly. At our meeting, he asked me many questions to help find out exactly what type of home that I was looking for. He was fast to send me detailed listing info on listings that were just listed and not published on realtor.ca. Mike continued to be extremely professional and knowledgeable about the Waterloo market. We got early showings which gave me the opportunity to find my house quickly and I was able to put in an offer first before anyone else did. His feedback/advice is precious and credible. I was very comfortable working with Mike. He is honest and an accommodating person to talk to. I would recommend anyone to him, especially those first time home buyers who are navigating the real estate market for the first time.

My partner and I used Mike Bolger to help us find a home when we moved to Waterloo from Windsor. Mike spent so much time listening to us about what we wanted in our home. We wanted a home that was a bit older that had an old time charm with a walk-out basement. Every time we looked at a Property, Mike picked out exactly the properties we were most interested in. Mike found us the perfect home, we are very grateful that our new beautiful home with lots of trees and a huge walk-out basement. We have so much room now compared to our other house that we can have our family and friends over more often. We could not be happier with our experience with Mike Bolger. He has the knowledge of the Waterloo community and plenty of experience in negotiating. Mike was very pleasant and has a great personality that made it such a wonderful experience for us. He is truly the BEST!

I worked with Mike in the past. Recently we experienced some roof damage as a result of bad weather. We reached out to Mike to see if he knew anyone. He went straight to his network and referred us to a roofer who was able to help. Not only is he a great realtor, but he’s got lots of connections and referrals for homeowners. Thanks Mike!
