I found Brian online as I was searching for an agent who has experience both in residential houses and income properties. We were looking to buy our first house + income property and the decision to go with Brian was a great choice. Brian was a fantastic agent, who helped us find our ideal home in just a matter of weeks. In one day, we saw more potential properties than we did all summer with our previous agent! In the end, we got a fantastic house, for a good price in a great neighborhood. Brian is a very good listener; he only showed us the types of homes we were interested in and that fit our requirements. He was very nice, honest and patient, and not pushy like some other agents. You can tell that he truly has his client's best interests at heart and he is an agent you can trust. He is also very responsive, so emails and phone calls are always returned promptly without delay. I would definitely recommend Brian and will be using him for our future house + income property purchases! 5 Stars! *****

We first crossed paths with Brian in late 2013. As a couple, we finally decided we were ready to leap into the world of real estate and decided to give Brian Matthews a call as we remembered how caring and nice he was during our first encounter. Right off the bat, our instincts told us we had made the right decision to give Brian that call. Brian was nothing less than attentive, empathetic, and patient when helping us execute our search for our starter home. He works around the clock; staying on top of his email and is truly always a phone call away. Brian does his homework and shares useful knowledge that helps his clients have a better insight as to what exactly it is they want in a home. Life has its way of connecting people in the universe together and if I had the ability to help every homebuyer; I would connect them with Brian Matthews. We thank you from the depths of our hearts for helping us find our dream home! We will definitely be crossing paths with you again in the future- you’re awesome!

I first got in touch with Brian after finding his website via a simple Google search. I had made my decision to take a look at the market just a few days prior and - as a first time buyer - wanted to make sure I knew what I was getting into. Brian offered to take me to a few places and he let me make my own observations to get a feel of what was important to me before putting in his own thoughts on what I was missing. Long story short, we saw 16 condos on two separate days and by letting Brian show me properties he thought I should look at, I ended up making an offer on day two on a property that I would not have seen if he had not suggested I "really should take a look" at this place that was just slightly outside of my basic criteria. Without his experience, not just on properties but on understanding my not very well articulated requirements, I would have missed out on my great condo. A few years later, I again contacted Brian when I was looking to sell my condo and move into a new place. Once again, Brian was great to work with, accomodating, and tremendously helpful with his advice. There is a lot of coordination, estimation, and planning involved when both buying and selling a place at the same time and making sure the dates work for everyone involved, but the process was definitely helped with Brian around. From the actual finding of my first and second homes (oh, and my brother has used Brian's services as well when he bought his condo), through the first time buyer/seller advice and follow up on how things have gone since, the communication with Brian has been great and I would not hesitate in recommending his services to anyone looking to purchase in the Toronto/GTA area.

Our family had the pleasure of dealing with Brian as our real estate agent when we purchased our new home in Brooklin and sold our old one in Pickering. His preparation was very thorough, his price target for the sale was spot on and the new home was one he selected based on our families unique requirements. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an agent that listens and responds.
