Robert Shirley well contractor came into my home to do a well inspection. There are readily available test methods to test for "how to take a water sample for bacteriological testing" published by Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit. There are five steps to follow. He skipped the first two steps, the most important steps. In big bold letters the health unit advises you to " remove any aerator, screen or other attachment from your kitchen faucet"... No he left a aerator with extension hose sprayer on the faucet...FAIL step one. Step two advised by the district health unit is to swab the end of the faucet end in big bold letters. No not done...FAIL again. In fact all he did is run the water and fill a bottle from a dirty spray end that reaches into dish water. You would think someone with a well contractor license number 6030 would know something about wells and water.... Not this guy. I advise never to hire him for anything.
