Mike Lind - Toronto Real Estate Agent

As first time home buyers, my partner and I are very fortunate to have found real estate agent Mike Lind online. Working with Mike was a great experience as new buyers in the Toronto East market. Like many first time home buyers, we interviewed a few agents, and down to a hard decision, we worked with Mike… and I’m sure glad we made the right decision. From the very beginning, we built a great relationship with Mike, which has made our first house hunting experience much more enjoyable than we had imagined. He’s very patient with a whole lot of experience and knowledge to offer. What drew us to Mike was that he knew, understood and experienced everything that we wanted. We wanted to live in the city, be close to public transit, close to the highway, good neighbourhood, have a short drive to the beaches/ downtown and most of all, not overpay in a crazy bidding war. Of course we knew that we can’t have everything and being in Toronto, we knew that either we had to compromise to spend more on a recently renovated home or buy a fixer upper. What we wanted wasn’t unrealistic, but the area was everything. Mike is the perfect Toronto East agent because he’s very knowledgeable about renovations, older houses and he knows every pocket of the city. With each house viewing, he would continuously point out the negatives of the house so that we’re aware of what we’re faced with and he knew how to pick out the gem in the haystack. Most importantly, appearance and modernizing is always changeable and Mike always helped us seek houses with a solid foundation and gave us pointers of the improvements we could make to the house to suit our taste. After experiencing our first house hunting story, we know that other agents that we have met through this process have nothing compared to Mike. The difference between Mike and other agents is that his heart is in helping people. He’s very passionate about what he does and his laid back and easy-going attitude has made our house hunting very fun, effortless and exciting. Above all, Mike is a top notch real estate agent to be reckoned with. Very highly recommended and wouldn’t have it any other way!

Thank you so much Mike for all you've done for us during our journey in the housing market. It felt like a lot of craziness from our end a lot of the time, but you were always there to take our calls, respond to our texts, and generally bring us back down from our anxiety and panic. In today's world of real estate, it's so important to have a calm and collected person looking out for your best interest, and this is definitely what you were and what you did. You're also a straight shooter, not just telling us what we wanted to hear; but telling us how you saw it. This is incredibly helpful, because there's nothing worse than unrealistic expectations. False promises and false hope, are just that. False. You gave us realistic expectations to work with, and then even more importantly, followed them up with real results. I can't say we're looking forward to ever moving again, but when the time comes, you'll be our first call.

Mike was recommended to me by a work colleague who had just purchased a very specific type of property with his help. What we appreciated the most was the down-to-earth attitude, the honest advice against properties that would not have been in our best interest, the speedy responses at all hours and the overall treatment we received being guided through the home purchase process. Mike displayed nothing but professionalism and transparency and will definitely be our first phone call if we ever decide to sell our home.

Mike, Thanks for being an inspirational and dependable mentor in this seemingly scary world of real estate. All of the doubt that I overcame was accomplished with your ongoing guidance and words of wisdom, especially during 11 pm text messages of reassurance. Coworkers are often surprised with how "lucky I was with my condo", my response is always that I have a great agent that I trust and has ongoingly mentored me through the process. During the bidding war, I mentioned that if I was out of town, and Mike found a place that suited my needs, I'd give him full permission to buy it on my behalf. I can't say enough positive things about Mike. He helped me buy my first house a few years ago and I I was looking for something really specific. He was patient and looked at so many places with me, put in a few offers and advised me on renovations, costs, etc. I always felt like he was being honest with me and never recommended any place that wasn't a good fit. And he's been there for me ever since the sale - continuing to advise me on the market, checking in and providing advice on upgrades, etc. He's awesome!
