I got a gorgeous piece of honed marble here after looking at a bunch of places around town. They had the nicest stones and the best prices by far. I really love having such a beautiful piece to upgrade the vanity. Friendly service and a small family run business worth supporting.

Initial contact with payment and further installation of the product -- a granite shower -- was within a reasonable amount of time. Problems arose shortly after installation: - dark stains (rust stains, it seems to be) start to appear in specific spots, closer to the bottom, near the joints. Even though we were always careful to squeegee the excess water off the walls, and run the fan profusely until well dried. Called the owner, Jose Carepa, a few times. Promised us to show up but never did. This situation carried on for a LONG period of time without him showing up but always promising to do so. He eventually stopped answering our phone calls altogether. More than a year goes by, and after the insistence of my husband showing up at his store, he then sends one of his workers, who does show up, and tries to remove the stains but to no avail. Whether it was an installation fault or not, we are not at all satisfied with their work ethics.

I now know why they call their company Best of Best as my wife and I just had granite countertop installed in our kitchen which included the kitchen island. Prior to the installation we were experiencing some real anxiety as we have had little success and some very poor experiences with some companies and contractors that we have had dealings with since moving to Ottawa. It was due to this that we lost faith and trust and while we do as much research as possible prior to choosing a company to do business with there is no guarantee of a successful result. From the beginning of our kitchen project George and Jose assured us that all would be fine and they said to us, Don't worry, just relax, you are in good hands. Well, were they ever right! From beginning to end everything was perfect. Not only did they do a phenomenal job they also provided some great ideas and suggestions that we had not thought of that made our kitchen look even better than we had planned. Best of Best has restored our faith and trust in the business community of Ottawa and we highly recommend Best of Best to everyone. We love our new kitchen and the countertop looks amazing! Thank you George, Jose and all the staff at Best of Best Tile & Marble for a job well done! You are extraordinary people and we are fortunate to have met you. Have a wonderful summer and continued success with your business and in your personal lives.

This is a family run stone fabricator. That means you are talking to the owners, not salespeople. They gave special attention to my particular needs and did a very nice job of fabricating the pieces. The owners installed the counters and, along with their helper, were super careful and polite. I would recommend Best of Best to my friends.

Very, very disappointing experience. This is a family owned and operated company, I made a deal with the son to install a granite counter top for $2400, and arranged for someone to come to the house to measure the kitchen and do the template. After not hearing from them for two days I called them. I spoke to the father and made an appointment for the next day at 9:00. We waited for three hours and he did not show, so I decided to call again. After agreeing to the price and scheduled an appointment to the measuring the father over ruled the deal, said he would not do it for that price and no one took to the time to tell us! I have found there to be quite a few ethical and trust issues with Ottawa granite dealers, I would recommend you avoid this one. We are going to do business with Granite Depot.
