Gave this company the business for my kitchen counters. It was neither quick or easy! Job started Dec 14 and not completed until March 19. Incorrectly cut granite combined with very slow interval between mapping and first attempt at installation added up to very little satisfaction. My one seam is still very noticeable.....I'm hoping it will be fixed. The first two installers really did not seem to know or care. It took them almost 3 hours to determine that the granite was cut incorrectly. When I called to query I received a "well that's how it goes sometimes" response. Shop some where else.

Great quality product and installation was professionally done. Would recommend highly for your countertop needs.

Another company that has no driving rules. Just watched as their company truck cut off 3 vehicles to get back to their office like someone was dying.

We recently ordered, received and had installed granite countertops throughout our kitchen, wet bar, and nook. We have never been so satisfied with the purchase of any goods and services since arriving in the Comox Valley. Dave and his staff were completely professional and very willing to make our dreams fit within our budget. Everything that was promised was delivered in the exact manner that Dave’s staff promised it would be. Sylvie and the office staff are calm and very efficient. The templating was great and Steve was very helpful. The day that the granite arrived Dave assigned a two man crew for the installation. They tore out the old countertops and disposed of them. They manhandled huge pieces of granite up two large flights of stairs, installed the pieces, and made any and all minor adjustments onsite. All in a very timely and professional manner, without a whimper! When the job was 90% complete, Dave arrived to give his final blessing and guidance to the project. GOOD JOB team, all the best. We had a positive experience with Q&E Granite overall. First, we are thrilled with our new Hanstone counters (Canadian made too!) - they look even better than we expected. Our only disappointment was that the counters do not overhang the undermount sink as we were told they would. Instead the counter edge and sink edge are flush. The installers siliconed the seam (to prevent food scraps from getting caught) and said they will come back and re-silicone it if it breaks down. We weren't about to make a huge fuss about it but we kind of felt that they brushed it off as being unimportant but it wasn't to us. All in all, I would recommend them but I'd make sure I had every detail that was discussed written on the quote.
