Doing business on tiles with Curtis Carpet inadvertently means you end up having to resolve any and all issues with Ames directly. Lots of fun. Curvature to 3x16 tiles and colour inconsistencies in some boxes left us having to pay for new tiles separately and waste time and money on installation. Having phoned the company, speaking to one of their sales reps who was very easy going and pleasant to talk to, I expressed my relatively low level of frustration, and we agreed to put the whole thing to bed over a simple Keg gift card to appease my wife. The gift card arrived as promised, and while it was frustrating at the time, I can fully appreciate that controlling quality in something as high-volume as tiles can't be easy, so obviously we as customers need to be mindful of that. I'll definitely use Ames when we build our next house, and despite a few snags, they were terrific in helping make sure that a small issue was resolved in every way possible.

We were greeted right away and Joel was very helpful and informative. He answered all of our questions about the tile and grouts we inquired about. Great service!

This place is a joke. They're suppose to be the "experts" yet they recommended the wrong color mortar to us and when we wanted to exchange it for the right color, they said "sorry no-can-do...we don't know how you stored it"?? If you're not going to allow returns or exchanges, have employees who know what they're talking about!

Extraordinary customer service. Garry went beyond the call of duty to make certain that my reno was completed satisfactorily. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking quality flooring and knowledgeable and friendly service in Winnipeg.
