I fully recommend this shop. I have had emergency wood stove door repairs (below cost of Victoria shops), fast turn around on automobile glass, custom work at very high quality (windows cut into doors, etc.). Service is efficient, clearly communicated and professionally done.

I've hired Sooke Glass on two separate occasions, for two different types of work. The first being custom screens for my home, which they did an excellent job on. They hit the dates promised for delivering and installation, and there hasn't been a single issue with the screens since they were installed. I would definitely recommend Sooke Glass for work on windows and screens in home. But auto glass work; that's another story entirely. When my windshield needed replaced, I was recommended Sooke Glass by family, and since they're a local, family run business, which I've had a previous good experience with, I decided to bring my vehicle to them. To make a long story short, I ended up bringing the vehicle back four times due to wind noise and insane moisture build-up on the inside of the windshield. Frustrated, I took my vehicle to another local shop and asked them to take a look at it. They said the installation was sloppy, but no obvious problems from the outside. I decided to bite the bullet and pay out of pocket to have the windshield replaced by the second shop. When they remove the seal around the glass, they called me to come in and take a look. It turned out that Sooke Glass use a fraction of the bonding material required for a windshield installation, and there were huge gaps all around, between the glass and the frame of the car. The only way to correct it, was to remove the glass and completely reapply the bonding material. Photos and an explanation were sent to Sooke Glass once the second proper installation was completed, in hopes that they would reimburse me, at least in part, for the terrible job they did, but no dice.

These guys were great. I needed the glass in my wood stove repaired on a Saturday. Not only did they have the best price, but they stayed late for me to get the repairs done so I could still have my stove going for the weekend. Above and beyond customer service, and worth the drive. I definitely recommend this shop.
