Their wood is garbage don’t waste your time.. I bought some “kiln dried” spruce there and had to tear apart entire skids to find anything worth using that wasn’t water logged, mouldy, or as twisted as the managers approach at customer service. I built a table and bed and both cracked and split horribly. When I went back to the store with pictures of the damaged wood that had clearly not been kiln dried properly or it was left in the rain. The manager laughed at me and the pictures and told me that any kind of wood I buy anywhere will do that. So I decided to test that theory and have been buying better wood, at a better price and receiving better customer service 2 minutes up the road at The Home Depot. It’s a shame not to support a local Atlantic Canadian company. But their manager is about as pleasant as a hornet to deal with. And for that reason I will not go back!!

I love these people. Most of the folks who work there are very experienced and knowledgeable. Many of the employees are retirees, and I kid them about wanting to work there when I'm old enough... If you need advice, they've probably already done what you want to know about.

Great staff Always able to help or able to find someone who can answer any question. Great flexible delivery putting the product where you want it. (none of the waiting around all day for it they come and just dropping your purchase anywhere they want.)

Beautiful new store, wish they had more product as Home Depot is just up the road. Good prices on sale items..I bought seaweed compost at 1.50 a bag, nice deal at the start of the season, when we need it most . Bought a Shelterlogic greenhouse a couple weeks ago for only 150.00, nice to have the support very early in the season for us who want to grow our own food.
