A beautiful bed & breakfast right in the heart of the Valley here in Berwick

Wonderful hosts, Beautiful property, extra clean, great breakfast, 100% deserving of a 5 star review. The best compliment is....""we will be back soon"" Thanks for the great stay!

We are getting married and for a wedding present our Aunt said she would get us a Bed and Breakfast for our wedding night. She visited this lovely BnB to view and inquire about booking. When the female owner asked about the dress she was surprised when our Aunt said it was two males getting married. At which the owners attitude changed and she started calling my fiance and I "Those People" and she cant deny us by law but maybe she can find a room for us in the basement. I understand that even in this day in age where same sex marriage is legal in Canada and is widely celebrated that their are still small minded individuals out there. . We did book a lovely Bed and Breakfast at Hidden Garden. I know that some of you reading this review will stand with us, not care or stand with the owner of the Candle Inn The Window Bed and Breakfast. That is not my intention to initiate a battle of sides nor is it my intention to have people boycott this BnB. I wholeheartedly wish to convey my disappointment and want other "People" of "my kind" to know before they decide to book and get disrespected when arriving. Yours truly,

This is Nova Scotia hospitality at its best. A beautiful home to stay in and two wonderful people, Polly and Bill, proprietors, to finish off the experience. You are always sure to find your way back home to the Inn by way of candles found in the front windows to warm your return. The breakfast was among the best we have had anywhere. We were so impressed that we booked again in September 2016. Thanks again from Wayne and Elizabeth Watson, Brookfield N.S.
