What warranty? Had a window fog up this past winter from a window purchased in September 2016. I took pictures of the window and spoke with woman that sold me the windows and was told no problem, those thing happen and it's covered, bring it back in the spring and we will take care of it. I brought the window back and was told by Curtis Smith that yes seal is broken and not royal tech's fault, because you must have tried to hang an air conditioner on a fixed piece of glass, or my wife tried to hang a planter and stuck a screwdriver behind the frame and broke the seal or someone must have tried to break into my house. Never been treated any ruder by someone who makes their living selling a product to the public. No way was I going to pay this company to fix my window so I took it to another repair facility , and they informed me while laughing that in that in no way did we damage the window or break the seal. Seems to be standard practice with this guy trying to weasel his way out of standing behind his product. Great way to be treated after spending nine thousand dollars on windows. Don't waste your time or money at this place.

I had Royal Tech Windows provide me with an estimate for replacement windows. After the owner learned that I received a much better quote from First Choice Windows and Doors, he immediately called First Choice and harassed and bashed them .... claiming that they were under-cutting Royal Tech Windows. I was so appalled! First Choice's response to Royal Tech Windows, "WE DON'T TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OUR CUSTOMERS!" TRY FIRST CHOICE WINDOWS AND DOORS of Inkster, MI... - The Company that treats you RIGHT!

Buyer Beware! I don't find pleasure in bashing any company trying to make an honest living but there is nothing honest about Curtis Smith and royal tech windows. I had a glass replaced last year and it has since started to fog up do to a faulty seal. After 3 weeks of trying to get my problem resolved Curtis Smith finally told me he would not replace the glass, which he said he planned to, due to the fact I questioned his honesty. Judging by other reviews, he obviously does not value customer satisfaction and will sacrifice his integrity for a couple of bucks. Such a shame. Google ripoff report for other examples of Curtis smiths shady business practices.

Terrible customer service. Doesn't stand by their product. Had a sliding patio door purchased from this company and installed by a contractor 8yrs ago. Seal has gone bad and glass is fogged. Never got a "warranty #" so management won't honor the warranty. To top it off they're trying to say the people that installed the door wall took out the glass and replaced it with some cheap knock off glass from Canada. I know for a fact the guys called me from Taylor and said they were picking up the door and would be at my house within the hour. Kind of hard to do if they crossed over into Canada first to swap out the glass. Amazing that a rep from this place came to my home and said they would replace it no problem then someone from the office calls and says no. Do yourself a favor and shop around. This place gives the term "locally owned business a bad name".
