I have to give Vinyl city a 5 star reviews. They have done an amazing work for me. I am so happy with my new window. At the initial appointment, they have acted very professionally, really listening to my needs. What really made an impression is they are not trying to sell the expensive stuff, but the right window for your house. They got my business right there, because I feel they are very considerate. Picking the installation time: In Oakville, cutting a new window needs a building permit. The process of acquiring a permit can be lengthy and vary. Vinyl city waited patiently for my permit to get approved and then worked with me to find a time that works for installer and the inspector. During the installation time. They went the extra miles to make sure everything works smoothly. star customer service!!!!!!! You may disagree with me, but to me customer service means get customer satisfaction. Minimize customer's work. Vinyl city have done that for me. My project is not that straight forward. When there is a problem, Vinly City didn't point fingers, but instead trying to make it work for everyone. I am very happy that I picked them, and looking forward to work with them again. summary: Vinyl city 1. listen to your needs. 2. considerate 3. cares about customer satisfaction. here are some before and after photo for my project.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are not able to handle the business, I was promised windows with good manufacturing and great warranty but not only were the windows waaaay late, the windows let in more draft than the old windows. I raised my concern and told them that the brick to brick installation was worse than retrofit, she said that it could be because casement windows bring in relatively more draft (A big lie so many people have casement windows and their windows are not drafty). There is no point of having warranty if no one comes to fix issues. It seems the window manufacturer and Vinyl City pass the blame on the other and the customer gets kicked around like a soccer ball.

After 4 months waiting, finally a repair man of Vinyl City came to see my leaking window. But he said it was the roof problem.I spent $300 to check my roof, but no any problem of my roof. Fortunately the other window company helped to find the problem of window. The parts replaced was under warranty, Repair Labour cost paid by Vinyl City. The leaking water damage my interior wall paint and dry wall, I spend $280 to fix my wall by myself.

Do not buy windows from this company. We learned our lesson the hard way. We relied on HomeStars reviews of Vinyl City and this was a huge mistake. Let's start with Vinyl City. The company sells defective windows and we experienced non-stop issues. There were 4 problems: 1. Our white grills turned yellow. 2. The windows developed a film in between the panes. (see attached photo.) 3. The locking mechanisms broke 4. Several 'finger taps' on the corners of the screens snapped in half. (used to remove screens for cleaning.). Installers are fine, customer service is non-existent. No one returns emails or phone calls. Likely because they know why you are calling. They sell you poorly made windows and then run. We tried to publish our experience on HomeStars and they are just as crooked as Vinyl City. (After sending them our Vinyl City invoice to prove we were customers, they refused to publish our review. Don't trust them either. It is unfortunate a company like this continues to operate. Stay away! (I would give my rating a 0 but I have to choose 1 so that my review is posted.)

Purchased our home front door with Vinyl City back in 2013 with a multi-point locking system. Fast forward to 2022 and the door handle lever broke on its own due to daily usage, called multiple local locksmiths and all of them could not fix the door handle lever without getting a brand new multi-point locking system. Tried contacting multiple local door manufacturers with all of them telling me that they do not sell multi-point locking systems as a stand-alone product (always pre-installed and sold as part of the door). As a result, I decided to contact Vinyl City on May 20th for help, as we are not looking for any warranty work and we are more than happy to pay out of pocket to have the issue fixed. The Vinyl City representative told us to go to another local door manufacturer called Premium Door Systems in Concord claiming that they could offer us further assistance, and the representative herself forwarded me the information about Premium Door Systems (with her own phone I assume as I was receiving iMessage texts from her). Upon going to Premium Door Systems on May 20th, they told us that we would have to contact Vinyl City for the original sales documentations in order for them to offer us any help. We promptly did so and contacted the same Vinyl City representative on the same day and sent an email to Vinyl City per her request so that she could work on it & get back to us on May 24th (as per our conversation over the phone). The day of May 24th rolls around and I tried calling both Vinyl City's phone number and the phone number that the representative herself used to send me information about Premium Door Systems. Nobody picked up. I left multiple voice mails and texts to which I had no reply as well. Fast forward again to today, May 31st, 2022, I decided to contact Vinyl City once more to ask for a status update on my issue, to which nobody picked up. I also texted the phone number of that representative at Vinyl City, and all of my iMessage texts were read, but no replies were given. Considering the poor experience I've received here this year I would strongly recommend anyone to seek OTHER companies when ordering a brand new door or purchasing any other household products/services, as you would not be treated the same after the sale when buying products or services from Vinyl City.
