Our Marvin Windows are an absolute disaster. We spent over 100k on windows for our house. Ironically our house is designed by the same architect that designed the house on the cover profile for Marvin on Houzz. The Marvin dealer recommended a coating for our house that lets in a crazy amount of heat. At the time of ordering he assured us the coating would make the house comfortable year round. In actual practice our house will hit 100+ F degrees in January and February even when it's -20 F outside. We have to run our AC even in the middle of the winter or open doors and windows to keep it cool. We had to change out our AC unit for a unit that is more then double the size recommend for our house. In the summer we have to close the blinds and the AC unit runs full blast and can barely keep the temperature 5 degrees cooler then outside. The dealer won't do anything for us and when we contact Marvin they say it is between us and the dealer. Looks like our only option is to spend another 100k and switch to Kolbe, or Lowen. The window coating is the largest of many other issues we are having including the fact that one of the garage doors won't lock, the screens on the sliding doors are junk and keep breaking and falling off. Over all poor quality products and even worse service.
