Wish I could give no stars! 5 years later and $1,000's of money spent, all my windows have to be replaced and the door too. Don't bother with "customer service" or warranty. If it's not "within" their perimeters" they won't fix it. Oh don't forget the fee to come and even determine if it's their problem! Surprised they are still in business!

For 3 weeks now I’ve been speaking to a very polite girl, Luanne. She’s probably been programmed to always be positive and put a customer off for weeks. I had my Arcor windows installed in 2011. I’ve had more than 1 SHOE break for these windows. They’re not under warranty either. I’ll NEVER buy these windows again. I’d rather go to a flea market and buy windows. Very BAD customer service. BUYER BEWARE OF ARCOR WINDOWS. Rose V

Very poor product support. Don't expect parts or help down the road. My Arcor windows were installed by a dealer, "The Door Dudes", some years ago. The installation was fine. Recently, I needed a small part for one of the casement windows. Please note that this is not a warranty claim, I am fully prepared to pay for the part. This dealer is no longer an Arcor dealer so they could not help me other than suggest that I contact Arcor directly. I am somewhat disappointed that a dealer from whom I bought a house full of windows was not more helpful, but there may be limitations that I don't understand. Arcor refused to help me because I am a customer, not a dealer. They only deal with dealers. After telling my story, I asked if they could please provide the name of a current Arcor dealer in my area, as I would be willing to go through that dealer. Arcor said they could not give me that information and reiterated that they did not deal with customers. At this point my options seem to be: -Call all dealers in the yellow pages to see if they are an Arcor dealer and are willing go to a lot of trouble for a small part. -Replace an entire window for big $$$ just to make it right. -Encourage my nephew to buy that 3-D printer he has been looking at. (-; Maybe he can make the part for me?

Purchased several windows and a patio door in 2004 with a 40 year warranty against seal leakage. In fall/winter of 2014/2015 the seal on the patio door failed. All original documents, photos etc were sent three times to Arcor. They claimed that the glass component of the patio door was not covered.Phone calls to the warranty department resulted in a lot of running around and the person claiming that she could not locate my file as she had so many to deal with. Eventually a call back was received advising that they had found my file but Arcor did not deal directly with the customer but only with the distributors. The person was told that the distributor had sent two e-malsl to them but were ignore. Again I was told that patio doors were not covered under the warranty. Advised them that I would contact the Better Business Bureau. On may 4th, 2015 received a call advising that my patio door was guaranteed for only 10 years (not true it was for 40 years but in 2009 they changed their warranty but still claim they would honour the previous warranties). This contact with me at this time instead of with the distributor was made strictly, I believe, because of me telling them I would contact the BBB. Buyer beware. This company does not intent to follow through on their warranties. My distributor stopped dealing with Arcor for that reason and for the fact that their product became inferior.

While the installation and the people we dealt with were very nice, that all changed when one of the windows required warranty. We have been jerked around for over a year, no one has ever come to look at the windows and we simply cannot get the problem resolved. The funny thing is we needed several other windows replaced and would have given the business to Arcor, but they won't stand behind their work and their customer service is dismal. I'd strongly suggest you find someone else if you are in the market for new windows.
