A few months ago when my wife and I were looking at companies to take on a full, top to bottom window and door replacement job, we came here first. The reviews we read about Douglas Windows and Doors allowed us to feel comfortable in signing an eventual contract. Everyone involved from Josiah, to Sean whom took measurements to Pierre and Brian, whom spent 4 long days installing to even the Owner's Father Doug, were absolutely incredible. We had a couple minor hiccups, however, when we reached out to have the issues resolved, everyone mentioned above, including Robin at the office, took the time to resolve the issues. It seems as though it's tough to find companies who back their customers, who stand behind them and work to make them happy, but that is exactly what everyone at Douglas did. Thank you for the superior customer satisfaction and this is all without even mentioning how excellent of quality the windows and doors are in itself. Thank you, Justin

We had Douglas Window and Door come and replace all the windows in our home back in January during a very bad snow storm - in hind sight, maybe the install should have been delayed (details below). We are very happy with the windows and have noticed a significant difference in our house temperature. We are, however, pretty unhappy with the state that the windows were left in after install, as well as the debris around the outside of the house - both issues probably stem from the storm during install. With it now being spring, I have been finding debris all over the yard including sharp pieces of the metal window surround, plastic caulking cap pieces, nails, wood, and spray foam. Every day I go out and find more. Also, the inside of our windows were left absolutely fifthly and filled with smears from the "cleaning" job that the workers did. This is fine for the windows we can reach because we just cleaned them again ourselves. But, we have a 2 story entrance and the inside of the windows in the upper section of the entrance are filled with smears, which is very noticeable now that it's spring and is sunny. So, we now have to figure out how to clean the upper windows safely. I would recommend Douglas for quality of the windows and the product itself, but not for cleanliness of the job site afterwards. We also had some damage to the inside of one two of the windows that was dealt with quickly, though not at the most convenient time - we were told they could come after work, but Strassburger actually came directly and told us their workers only work during work hours. We had to get family to meet them. Without these issues, we would be 100% happy.

I have just completed the second job with Douglas and although I would rate the first one as top notch, sadly the second is a really big disappointment! The installation is perfect, the door itself not so much. I have two other steel entrance doors and I assumed that the third would have been ordered to match - sadly not so. The door style was not discussed at time of order and my mistake was assuming that the sales rep would have ordered the style to match my existing. As an interior designer this mis-match is very offensive to my eye especially since I see the two different styles at the same time. Is this my mistake - I don't think so, but I am very happy to report that Douglas is planning to replace the door with the style I was expecting!! I will continue to do business with them and I will continue to refer my clients to them. I live in house over 100 years old and there are still a lot of replacements to go. Their integrity equals that which I try to operate with in my business also. Thanks!

Our experience with the entire Douglas team truly exceeded our expectations. Not only were they passionate and enthusiastic, they were also hard working and courteous. The installers were incredibly professional, knowledgeable and clean. They had the utmost respect for our home, leaving it exactly as they found it! We hired Douglas to replace all of the windows in our home and are very pleased with the entire experience. If you choose to work with Douglas Window & Door, you will not be disappointed!

*update* April 18, 2018 It's been 6 days since I left my review and still no response from anyone at Douglas window and doors to this review or my phone calls. Very disrespectful! I have called Douglas window and door on two seperate occasions. I was simply asking for someone to call back for more information about installing an entry door to my home. I still have not recieved a call back. I work in consultative sales so I know the importance and respect that goes into just calling a customer back. Very disappointed.
