(they need to start allowing a negative 5 star base...I'd be throwing this to -5 without question.) We recently purchased a 8 year old house that was built by a local contractor and windows installed by these people. After months of calling and not getting returned calls, we speak with an extremely rude lady who tells us, sorry about your luck but the warranty is non-transferable (yet every local window company is flabbergasted that they don't provide this as all of them do when installing on a new build)... we proceed to explain this is an issue because there are 4 windows in this 8 year old home shot due to moisture and all three other houses on our cul du sac built by same builder and same windows made are ALL, I mean ALL cracking and having the same issues right now... Plus, the cranks are all broken, front door has moisture and ice collects through the winter. The products coming from this place are beyond low end. I don't understand how, when presented with an obvious issue with your product, you refuse to be the bigger person and own up to the fault in your product and say hey look, we will come replace these as we don't want our product and/or name being bashed across Ontario and the nation. As a local businessman myself, I cannot understand a company not owning up, taking responsibility and better yet, TRYING to find a solution instead of "even IF there was coverage, which there IS NOT, we would still charge you to come out and we would still charge you installation... it's not like you are going to get free windows out of this..." REALLY? disgusted with this company and if you are a builder, do NOT USE them and if you are a homeowner, check with your builder and make sure they are not using these windows..

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! Or Sunview or any of these companies that they run under. They "make" cheap products to get you to buy and then charge you to corect thier defective product. Every window in our 2 year old house has seal leaks. They replaced them due to the clear bad product. Now they are charging to replace the windows that they have already replaced! Water between windows , cold coming through and who knows the costs lost to heat our house. This is a brand new home!!!! Do not buy!!! This is the case with all our neighbours who have these "windows" on our street.

Very happy with my windows, almost 3 years and still look and work like new thanks Sunview we will buy again and have recommended your windows to family and friends. Great customer service and very friendly. If I could give more stairs I would give 50 more.

We built a new home in lakeshore Ontario in 2015, our builder uses newco (sunview windows) which are absolutely garbage, nothing but problems with doors and windows. Our huge arch window cracked after 1.5 years not covered under warranty, cost us $2k to replace. All the cranks for the casement windows are junk, we've had numerous windows get stuck in the locked position or not be able to lock after opening. Our front double doors, leaked water from the sill and from the window in the door. The door locking mechanism failed 2 times. We had several seal failures and their customer service is horrible, even the owner (some older Italian accented man) refuses to horror their life time warranty on any windows, they do not care about their clients at all. Do not buy anything from this company. Quite honestly the worst door and window company in Ontario canada. The worst part is Hadi Custom homes and Lakeland homes both use this product in their new built homes.

My builder used these windows. They call themselves Newco Building Supplies, Sunview Windows and Doors and Canada Building Products. No WONDER they keep changing their company name. Well, in my opinion they are hiding from their shoddy products. Our windows have had numerous seal failures. Numerous. Well, we were told that we had a "Lifetime Warranty". "What does this mean?" you ask. It means that the glass is covered but labor is extra after the first year. They charged us $101.70 to "inspect" the windows, then said that eight of the windows, all three years old, had seal failures. THEN had the gaol to charge us $638.45 in labour charges to replace the windows. That's a total of $740.15 on 3 year old windows with a "Lifetime Warranty". And that's just US! How many other people have they scammed? In my opinion, they are grabbing all the money they can before they run off and change their name again. Beware, and be very aware. Don't use their windows, or you will regret it.
