This company has 5 star review for a reason! Cold called them in a pinch when I need materials for an emergency repair call for a local, elderly client. Matt had what I needed in a couple of hours and was very helpful in solving a few install issues I had with the job. Thanks guys! Will be back in the future.

I always prefer to give any business a fair & honest review as it may help others to make an informed decision. In this particular case I can't provide a favorable review. In early June-July I met with Trevor on several occasions to purchase a screened in porch system. The decision was to go ahead and purchase a Sunspace product. It was to be installed on the 10 September 2018. I contacted Trevor to confirm that installation date and was told there will be a delay and he would have to confirm another date. I had concerns with Trevors explanation, so, I contacted the manufacturer and was advised there was no order in my name or from Burchell Glass. The company told me to have Burchell Glass call them to follow-up. I immediately contacted Trevor to contact this company. Two days later, I received notification from Trevor that it was delayed and I explained if this is not installed by the 22 September 2018 to cancel this order. Trevor ensured it would be installed on the 22nd. Two days prior to the sheduled installation date, I text Trevor to ensure the installation date on the 22nd which was confirmed. On the 22nd, no show, no follow-up call by the installers or from Trevor. I texted Trevor that morning twice of the No show and no response. On the 24th I received a phone call from Chris who identified as the installer. He stated due to the Tornado in Ottawa he was able to call as his cell phone had no power. My question was how was the second installer notified to cancel if you had no cell battery. No effort to reach out by anyone from Burchell Glass. Incidentally, the installer was not affected by the storm other than a power outage like we were. I informed this installer I have already notified Trevor through a text that I will not be dealing with a company that does not come through or have the accountability to follow-up with a client. My faith in dealing with this company had deminished and I had to make my own inquiries and was simply ignored by Trevor. Furthermore, I didn't believe the installers explanation/ excuse of him not reaching out. Bottom line this company dropped the ball on this and we're not honest. I cannot in good conscience recommend this company as a client should not have to chase after a company to get the job done.

We would recommend Trevor of Burchell Glass to anyone! He was very professional and timely. He was very articulate and understanding of our needs and provided unique options that the competitors did not suggest or offer. Burchell Glass' price was almost a dollar for dollar match against our other 2 quotes. We did not select them for the job in Ottawa BUT they may very well get the job for our other home in Westport. The only reason that we did not select Burchell for the Ottawa job was a minor timeline difference. We will continue to deal with Trevor for our Westport home. Burchell Glass should be very proud that they have such a dedicated professional employee! Thank You Trevor.

I cannot talk more highly about the service of this company. We installed new windows and French doors in our house in 2002. Our house is over 100 years old and they came in and did a wonderful job. They then replaced the windows in my office-also extremely efficiently. In and out in a day with no muss or fuss. The crowning glory is 11 years later we were having some trouble with gaping of our French doors letting in snow in the winter and bugs in the summer. I called them to see if they would still stand by their doors so many years later. They came promptly and resolved the problem efficiently again with no fuss and no charge whatsoever! My thanks for such wonderful service and congratulations on maintaining such an honourable company over the years.
