I wish I could rate a Zero but I can’t.
When my wife and I were looking for a company do do our roof we called Champion. They were recommended to me by someone and I called because they offered financing. We figured “well. If they are recommended by someone we know, why not”. One of the WORST DECISIONS I ever made. The sales rep came out and was unprepared, he also didn’t know how to properly estimate the cost, and he had to leave my home and come back with the proper documents.
After he gave us the quote, we were really happy with it. We signed the contract and he told us that someone will contact us in one week. A week goes by and I hear nothing. So I decided to call them. After calling 5 different numbers that all gave me the same answering machine, I finally got ahold of someone. And he couldn’t find my paperwork. He told me he had to come out and measure my roof and get a list of materials and make sure the estimate was correct. After a week of no phone calls I call back. Again 5 different number, this time all different from the previous ones. He then proceeds to tell me he has to talk with the salesman and get me a new quote and a new contract, because our roof needs more materials and the price has to increase. He then tell meds me he will contact me in a few days. Another week goes by and bump into him at a fast food restaurant and he tells me he’s waiting for the salesman to return from out of town and he expects him back in a few days.
You guessed it, another week goes by. This time my wife and I decided that we are cancelling our agreement with them due to poor communication and poor organization and poor customer service. I again try to call over 10 times until We went to their office the next morning where we found all the doors locked. We found a few employees in the back loading a truck and I asked for the manager I’ve been speaking with(keep in mind it’s 8:15am and they open at 8am according to the sign on the door). He tells me he isnt there(which isn’t shocking) The employees tells me he can text him to have him call me. At this point I’m pissed and I tell the employee that I don’t want to do business with them due to the shitshow the throw. A few hours go by and I get a call from the manager FROM A BLOCKED NUMBER!!!!
I tell him I want out of the contract and I refuse to pay their cancellation fee due to poor communication, lack of professionalism and piss poor promises. But I did get out of it with no fee. I WOULDNT RECOMMED THIS COMPANY TO MY WORST ENEMY! stay away from they and save yourself the headache. They are garbage, and that’s being nice.
