Excellent experience with Young Electric. Recommended from the Tesla certified installer website, and I called to get a quick/clear-cut quote. Flat-rate based on distance, and I already knew ahead of time that there shouldn't be any complications. Darin Adams came out promptly and did an excellent job installing a 14-50 plug on the outside wall. Cleaned up after and was able to pay through their mobile system with ease. Took about two hours from start to finish.

I do not normally take the time to write reviews and admit I need to get better about doing so, but because of my amazing experience I felt I needed to take the time to do so. This morning I had Young Electric out to provide an estimate for several projects & to install a whole house surge protection system. What can I say, I received an initial text and email to confirm my appointment as well as a text reminder this morning to confirm our appointment and let me know he was on his way. Darin Adams the Electrician that performed the work was on-time and very polite and explained what he would be doing as well as walked me through several options for our proposed projects. The price I paid was the exact price I was quoted and I am confident that I was charged fairly. It was an added bonus to know that I was supporting a local family owned and operated, military veteran business that really takes care of it's employees.

Very good experience working with Adam V. who came over to troubleshoot why a room in our house went dark. Shortly after moving in I had replaced all of the old almond-colored outlets and switches with new white ones and everything was working for a few weeks. Eventually I also replaced most of the light fixtures in the house as my wife picked them out. At some point our spare room stopped having power, but since we didn't use it often I was not sure which change had caused the problem. I went through and re-wired all of the outlets and switches in that room and couldn't figure it out by myself so gave up and called the professionals. Within 15-20 minutes of arrival, he found the problem in one of the lighting fixtures in a different room which was itself working, but not sending power along to the other room. He fixed it properly and nicely answered all my questions and explained how it worked. Also recommended some cool tech for future home automation work which I am interested in.

They installed a Tesla’s outlet for me with a great service.

Beware of how they price. Actual service was very good. They arrived on time and service rep was competent and friendly. I was quite disappointed in how they handled pricing for work they were unable to complete. Quote was for $1150 to provide and replace wall heater (cadet heater), install GFCI receptacle in bathroom and 2 receptacles in kitchen. Estimated material cost $250 (for cadet heater, 2 receptacles, 1 GFCI receptacle, about 10’ conduit), labor $900. Electrician determined he couldn’t install GFCI receptacle in bathroom due to physical restraints. The adjustment on my bill was only $78 credit for bathroom work which seems entirely insufficient. I requested a $150 to $175 credit for the bathroom work that was not done and they refused. My advice is to get an itemized quote so you have a clearer understanding of how they price their work.
