I contacted Rand Electric months before my Tesla was due to arrive. I supplied the required information but didn't hear for 3 weeks when I contacted Rand again. I then found out that I was getting my car in 10 days but I didn't get the booking until the day after my car arrived and the installation was 3 weeks later. Other than that, I was very pleased with all staff I engaged. The installers did a great job. Andrew

I hired this company to install 1 overhead light and one ceiling fan in rooms with no existing fixtures. I was told when booking the appointment that small jobs such as these are not quoted (therefore no formal estimate was provided) and would take 3-4 hours to complete. On the day of the job technician did not show up. After calling the office I was informed he went to the wrong address and was accidentally doing work at that house. I was reassured he would come after completing that work. Another 30 minutes passes with no technician so I again call the office this time speaking to a manager. This resulted in a technician being pulled from another job to complete my now 3 hour behind job. This technician that did arrive was friendly and knowledgeable but took 4.75 hours to the job I was quoted 3-4 hours maximum. The bill included parts I was never informed of and a permit fee I was also not told was required. Overall I am very dissatisfied with the service and would not recommend this company. I was assured multiple times this was a "funny story", they apologized for the inconvenience and discounted approximately 30 dollars from my much higher than anticpated bill but to me that gesture does not account for my time or frustration.

We are a Design Build company and use Rand Electric primarily. We have found that since using Rand Electric, our project management schedules are smoother and more predictable. We have been able to reduce our overall timelines for delivery of a completed build project. The additional accuracy of the estimating team has ensured and almost eliminated change order adjustments. In many cases directly due to their foresight and recommendations. We highly recommend them. Glenn Hunter Principal Designer / CEO Y & G Construction Group Ajax ON.

The whole "Rand Electric" experience was simple and went off without a hitch. Erin kept me informed of who was coming, when they would be there and what to expect. The price matched the quote. No surprises. My in-laws home was built in 1910. Didn't faze them at all. The installation of the "outside" outlet was perfect. Measure twice, cut once rule applied to get it in the right spot. I would recommend Rand Electric to anyone that needs any electrical work done. I have full faith in all of there employees. I have worked with them in the past and will in the future.
