Bob is unreliable . I gave him a deposit for an electric project . He gave me a receipt, and we set up an appointment. He didn't call to cancel, and he didn't show up. He sent me a text message apologizing the next day, with an excuse that his shoulder was bothering him. We set up another appointment. Again , he didn't show up, or call to cancel. I've asked for my deposit back and he hasn't answered . The owner , Bob, is completely unreliable. If you enjoy throwing your money away and being stood up, then this is the company for you . Otherwise, avoid at all costs. (3 days after review ) Bob now reports that he won't refund my deposit because I posted a truthful review. Bob also said if I wanted to take him to court "get in line". Avoid this man and this company at ALL costs.

Bob was great. Got to the root of the problem quickly and cost was fair. I will use Lancaster electric again!

Lancaster Electric runs an unprofessional business. Owner asked for money up front (didn’t totally surprise me-seemed normal to ask for a deposit) but then he was extremely unreliable (rescheduled more than 5 times for arbitrary reasons) and consistently showed up hours late (“I’ll be there at 10am”-showed up at 2pm) OR would not show up at all for a day and failed to call/text to say he was not going to make it. He even asked me for a few hundred dollars in the middle of the job, and when I refused, he said he’d have to take another job to get the money to buy more supplies for my job. He could not commit to any schedule that he set for himself. On his last day of work at my home, he stated that all he had left to service was one hallway; however, he had not even checked/replaced any of my light fixtures which was a service included in my quote. I had to remind him to perform a number of the services outlined in his quote, and he said “oh yea I’ll check them”. I can say with certainty that I do not trust his work, which has made me question my investment. I hope this review helps someone avoid the unfortunate situation I found myself in.
