Do not do business with these people. You will regret it. I purchased a brand new 900 dollar portable generator from them. The technician went over it with me before I loaded it in my truck. He couldn’t get it to turn over. He tried for about a half hour and it didn’t work... He asked if I could go do something for an hour and he would try to fix it. I then decided I didn’t want that one and asked for a new one. They didn’t have one so I upgraded to the electric start which was almost 1500. They told me someone put a down payment on it but never came and got it.... This one started by the pull cord but wouldn’t with the electric start. The technician said the battery just needs to be charged. If it doesn’t start after you charge it for a few days call us we will come to your house install a new battery and fix anything else that is wrong with it all covered by us. I said great and took it home. Three days later the handle breaks on it and the battery won’t hold a charge so the electric start is now useless. I call them up and they say they will fix it but will charge me 50 dollars to pick it up from my house and 50 dollars to drop it off. I explained I was told they would come to my house to fix the issue and they said absolutely not you will pay us for that. And we don’t work on things at peoples homes we do it at our shop. I told them I would then bring it in. I called them the day before I brought it in and they said bring it in the morning. I had to park close to a block away because of my truck and job trailer being so long. I had to pretty much drag it because of the broken handle. Once I got to there door the OWNER told me they were to busy and to bring it back at lunch time. I dragged it back to the trailer then brought it back again at noon missing more time from work. They said it would be done in two days but they had it for over a week. They called me up saying they wanted to save me money on the repairs by drilling holes in the handles and adding cotter pins. I said it’s under warranty still it’s a two weeks old and I want it fixed right not cobbed. They said the owner is saying you need to pay for it. I then got in a pissing match with the person on the phone until they said they will talk to the owner and call me right back. Four days later I called back and they said they ordered a new handle and to pick it up in a few days. I go to pick it up and I am told I owe them nothing the warranty covered everything. I look at the handle and it’s clearly not a replacement handle. All the did was weld a small block of steel on it and painted it orange to blend in. The handle now doesn’t have the capability of staying latched. Total cob job. I leave and then receive a bill in the mail several weeks later for all the work they performed. I call them and they apologize. Several weeks after that I get another bill then another one. I call them again and speak to someone and they tell me they will take care of it and call me back the next day. Of course I never get a phone call but I do get a bill. I call them again and leave a message on the owners voicemail explaining everything and to please call me back. They call me back apologize and tell me the owner wouldn’t call me so they are now made to deal with this and he’s made his mind up I owe them the money. These people are cons. Don’t do business with them. They will do the same to you as they did to me. If you need a generator or generator repair go to chapel tractor in Brentwood or concord. They will treat you with respect and courtesy. Plus they will fix it correct the first time.

If you are looking for a professional electrical company, that is on time, do what they tell you they are going to do and get the work done like they would do at their own home, look no further. Cote Electrical is 5 Star all the way.

Ron is the absolute worst. I called and spoke with him on Monday asking him to give us a quote- he made an appointment with me to come the following day at 5:30. My husband and I left work early to be there. Ron never showed up and never called to let us know he wasn't coming. I called and left a message that night asking someone to call me back. Nobody bothered to so I called again today. I was told by a receptionist that she had spoken with Ron and he "apologizes but he just got caught up with something else and couldn't make it". I stated that he could have at the very least called to tell us. She then went on to tell me that he wouldn't be able to come and give us an estimate for at least a couple weeks- so, not only did he blow us off, not care about our time or have the decency to call and let us know he wasn't coming; he also went from wanting to come the next day to obviously not caring about our business and not making it out for a few weeks. If he didn't want to take the job that's fine- be up front and tell us that from the beginning. Don't waste our time and energy by making appointments and not showing up. We are obviously going to go with a different company (which it seems like he clearly didn't want our work anyway).

The staff and service technicians from Cote Electric that come to your home are great. They are always willing to listen and then answer your questions. They are very easy to talk to and it is evident that they truly care about you and the services they provide you.

Cote Electric does the yearly preventative maintenance on my generator. The technicians that come to the house are always great. They have consistently been courteous and knowledgeable.
