I went in yesterday to pick up some grass seeds. I was in the Indoor plant area, where I found a really cute succulent on discount. When I went up to the counter, it rang in over double its advertised sale price. The cashier told me to go and take a picture of the tag for him. First, I hesitated, thinking that's his job. Then I thought, he should come with me since there is nobody in line behind me. Anyways, I ran and got few pictures and came back to show him but he still kept arguing about it being 'wrong'. I pointed out 3 other exact same plants right next to the advertised clearance tag. I even showed him the description on the sale tag and the item tag. They matched. I could tell he was getting frustrated (even though I did part of his job and all he could do stand behind the counter and deny the obvious). Then he called a manager, and the ignorant manager didn't even bother making eye contact with me and said he will not override the price on the system and just walked away. Well...on a positive note, at least he showed up! I will not be going here for my landscaping project and other needs. Waste of time and energy.

Proudly Canadian eh? The Northeast Rona near the Peter Lougheed Hospital is probably not a good to place for you to go shopping unless you know exactly what you want and where in the store it is located. If you don't and you must go to this Rona, make sure and take some anti-stress pills first. The staff that helped (I use that word loosely) me didn't have a clue. I would think upper management would train their staff about the products Rona has, or at least tell their employees to just say...duh, I'm not sure, eh - if they don't know the answer to a customer's question instead of misleading the customer. On the bright side, I did get lots of extra walking in today before I realized I was being given bad directions. Dear Northeast Rona, you didn't make this Canadian proud of you.

I wasn't happy about how the cashier made me feel. No bar code on a 19.99 tomato plant. Not my fault. She says great another delay, plus other others comments under her breath. I said you can suspend the order to help the next customer. When everything got sorted out I paid and nothing was said in terms of sorry for keeping you waiting. Ohh she did say have a great day. PS thanks for the 15%promo discount

I had fantastic experience dealing with the elderly person working in plumbing section. Found him to be very friendly and knowledgeable about products. Went to this Rona few times and each time it was better than the previous visit.

I felt the customer service very poor they need train their employees bought their products more. I felt very confused. Then went to home depot and I explained what I wanted to do and budget they hooked me right up
