I have been shopping in RONA for three or four times around Edmonton in different locations. I always have the same feeling like I was in my backyard shield - messy! Materials are everywhere, they filled every space they can. The only different between RONA and garage sale is RONA is selling brand new stuff. I really appreciated RONA, because it brought me back to my childhood treasure hunting. As other friends mentioned, they are shorthanded especially in Sunday morning. But on duty staff are okay. Somehow, I felt like RONA staff compete, challenge to each other rather than help, support.

This is the most poorly managed store. I think something is wrong at this store. Either the morale is poor and that is being reflected to the clients or just needs customer service training. I go very often here as it's less than a km away from my house. I have seen bad customer service but there's guys are not concerned. Very shortly staffed and if you ask a question, the employee said in a very loud way that I am busy! The cashiers don't know anything they sell. They will provide you information that their supervisors will clearly object that they dont know anything. Then the question raises as to why they are not trained or even passing this sort of information. Just poorly managed. I would season clean all staff or get better customer service skills. Very unfortunate that I keep ending up going here due to its distance from my place.

Several bad experiences. We went for a spring event a few years ago to pickup a free rain barrel, and they were out of stock within the first half hour. We complained, and they offered to give us one when they had stock. After they notified us that our rain barrel was in, we picked it up and headed home, only to discover it was missing pieces. We took it back to another location, and they said we had to go to the original location to return it. There were six trips to RONA in total, and at the end, we had no rain barrel. More recently, I went to pickup a screw, and when I went to pay for it, I saw a line of at least 20 people, with only one checkout open. These are just a few of my experiences. They’re all bad. Ive never seen a business stay afloat for so long while trying so hard to go out of business.

It's an ok store. Decent selection, although it's not as large as other ronas (this is a former Totem). I'm taking one star off because it's usually understaffed - you often have only one till open and the same person will work that till and the return desk at the same time, so the checkout can take a while. The other star comes off for removing the free popcorn machine.

Went to buy some wood trim, it was in 14' pieces, no big deal, figured I might be able to get a hand cutting a couple pieces, nope, guy at the service counter proudly announced that there was a cutting station and I had to do it myself. Okay I figured I can do this, only needed a few 6' lengths. Would have been nice if there were a measuring tape on the cart. Went and grabbed a measuring tape off the shelf, okay now I can do a couple quick cuts, nope, the saw on the cart was as good as a butter knife. Was a painful experience, will not go back to this location.
