Kevin was the kindest Home Depot employee I have ever met. I went to buy some materials for building a deck at my house, but I didn’t know what to buy and how to use them. Kevin made my life easier. He was very kind and patient to draw everything out for me and tell me every specific material I would need. He was professional and friendly. He helped me from the start to almost to the point I left the store. Guess what? I built a deck at my house within the next six hours (thanks to him!).

I'm not usually a fan of Home Depot. The store is dark and dirty and the parking lot can be a bit of a disaster. However after a poor service experience at Lowes last night I went to home depot, got what i needed and was out a few minutes later with no troubles. Also love that they are an equal opportunity employer.

Staff are normally very friendly and helpful, some of the store's organization is a little off but every isle is labeled well. It could just be the economy but everything has gone up in price... For example, regular 2x4 lumber has nearly doubled in price.

I was looking for couple of things which I could not find. Fortunately one of the employees was close by and asked me if I needed help. I must have looked really desperate lol. Anyway, she took me to the right isles I needed to go, even though it was across the whole store. I was really grateful for that. Thanks a lot to that nice lady. Too bad I don't remember her name.

This is the worste homedepo I know of. Everytime I call to reach a certain department or even the tools rental I have never gotten through. Not once. I always get sent back to customer service then they will just let the phone ring for a long time hoping I give up and when they realize I'm waiting the will pick up and hang up without saying a word. This happens everytime. I run a plumbing company so I call often hoping it will be different one time i was on hold for over a hour. I usually end up giving up and calling homedepo on 16 ave as they always help me out in under 15 minute. I dont know why this place has such terrible service. But after waiting on hold again today for 20 min then getting hung up on I will not use this place again. So if your calling for something dont bother because they dont care. Just call 16 ave location as they actually care about their customers.
