I need a garden supplies I needed hydroponic equipment and stuff like that and there was hardly anybody there that was useful to help me.. and even when we did we realized all of the stuff has been put away for the winter you would think people would want to start growing indoors in the fall and winter which means there should be a good market for hydroponic equipment and lighting and such things. But there was nothing to be found

I was at the Home Depot Calgary, Alberta, Canada locations in both in Beacon Hill and North Hill N.W. locations. I had in both locations unfortunately, poor customer service. In North Hill, I needed to ask for help in finding an item. I saw a few home depot staff that were not busy. They were all talking and socializing - which I don't mind at times but I was visibly in their view looking at them and in front of them to ask for help but was ignored but instead they conversed with each other. When I broken up there convo to politely ask for assistance on an item, the guy didn't know but did not take the time to find out and vaguely pointed in some direction. I seemed to have inconvenienced him. The Beacon Hill one- wanted to ask about an item, standing in front of a worker looking at him and said excuse me but he intentionally looked the other direction to what seem avoid eye contact and go walk past me. I had to point at him to make him stop walking way. Again, seems like can't be bothered. Understand if they're busy...but the thing is these instances they were not and decided they couldn't be bothered. Home depot please train your staff again!

Use those smaller sample paint rubs to help decide what would look best in your room. The digital app is wonderful but actually starting to paint and see what your room will look like in various lights will help you choose what's right for you. The staff were busy but very friendly even with my 5 colours to be sampled. When I returned to buy a larger bucket of paint, they were quicker and remembered my colour options and provided some extra help and advice on supplies needed.

I found that Home Depot staff is more knowledgeable about the products they sell than any other home renovation/hardware store in Calgary. Thank you for the great service.

Good choices. Excellent staff. Always ready to help you find stuff and provide recommendations. Prices a bit on the high side. One has to wait for sales and maybe stock up. A good store to browse in. The trouble is you end buying impulsively.
