The plumber did a good job on my renovations with a new ensuite install and old bathroom refit. But the furnace tech that was supposed to service my furnace didn't know his stuff, the next guy that came took two visits and then didn't the finish the job. Darrel, the owner, knows how stuff and the ladies in the service department reduced my bill for the furnace shenanigans. Needless to say they didn't get the job to replace my furnace after they tried charging $700 for servicing that wasn't done and i didn't need. Burgess is good for large construction projects, but beware if you aren't savvy with HVAC processes.

Amazing customer service! We were looking for an old shower part (we couldnt find anywhere). This wonderful woman working there knew exactly what it was before we could even explain. Absolutely determined she ransacked her desk and found the random spare parts. We are so grateful and appreciate you. Everytime we visit here we get exceptional service. Thank you.

Had a bathroom fan installed which got done very well but it went over 6 hours and a second guy had to come for two of those hours so we got charged over 8. Internet said the job takes 1-2 hours I know this is not always the case. It’s $90/hour. No one explained what was going to happen or how long it would take I never signed anything just received the bill.

They underquoted my husband; didn't do the job they were getting paid for but then double charged us for a second service call by the gas safety inspector to do the job that was supposed to have been done a month earlier; my husband phoned once a month for 3 months asking for an invoice and didn't get one; with out sending us a work order invoice they tried to charge the full amount to my husbands credit card; Got the invoice only after they phoned me to tell me that when they tried to process the payment the credit card had expired in which I told them we didn't get an invoice 6 months after the work was done. They kept telling us they would have to talk to the owner in regards to deducting the 2nd service call and only deducted it when my husband told them they tried to kill us with carbon dioxide and that the gas safety inspector would go to bat for us against them. Will NEVER do business with this company again. If you're not there to supervise the work, it won't get done.
