Great selection with helpful on site staff. Prices are good however it is a fair distance to travel. New products arriving and special ordets can be arranged.

We shop online for everything, even have a warehouse in Blaine to ship products for pick up...however when it came to updated our lighting we bought local. I did not want to run into issues with lack of brightness, colour temperature/kelvin, or end up with the wrong electrical connections coming from the fixture. Patti at Maple Ridge lighting offered me several options to replace our old lighting fixtures and made the process easy, therefore, we chose to buy all of our fixtures from her. I highly recommend visiting Maple Ridge lighting especially if you are unsure about what you need.

Great group of ladies working here... very knowledgeable. I am in the middle of a kitchen Reno and there are so many different types of lighting choices I needed to decide on, I felt overwhelmed. The staff at Maple Ridge lighting helped me every step of the way. For my pendant lights, I found a random picture on the internet and brought it to them and they were able to find a good selection of products they had that were very similar which made it easy for me. When it came to Under-Cabinet lights, again, their knowledge helped guide me to the right choice and I am very greatful for their help.

One of my bathroom lights in my condo burned out. After attempting to change the old MR16 bulbs and realizing it's not that, I wanted to replace the socket, but it appeared to be one piece initially, thereby thinking I needed to replace the fixture altogether. As I have two of them, I went to shop around for a pair of bathroom light pendant fixtures. I went to visit the big box stores (Home Depot, Rona, Lowes), and none of them were helpful. The staff I dealt with at each of these locations had very limited knowledge - frustrating when I know the answer and they don't, even though I don't know much about electrical things. I decided to pay a visit to a specialty lighting store to see the types of pendant light fixtures they offered. Gosha greeted me upon arrival, and upon explaining to her on what my issue is and showing her the photos of my bathroom light fixture, I expected her to show me a whole bunch of pendant lights to choose from. Gosha determined that I was trying to keep my costs down therefore suggested I try to replace the socket and/or transformer, and even showed me by magnifying my own photos of the socket area and showing me the screws to take it apart. At the end of it all, I tried the socket replacement first, however determined that it was the transformer itself. I went back for a subsequent visit to obtain this from Gosha. She also made a suggestion to swap the MR16 socket to a GU10 socket for longevity, along with several other benefits. I opted to stick to the MR16 socket, but now that I know I can swap to a GU10, I'll definitely keep it in mind for when I really want to perform an upgrade. While I would have been totally fine with spending money for two new pendant light fixtures, I also believe in repairing things if it can be repaired, and Gosha was able to show me how to do it. She saved me from unnecessarily spending a couple hundred dollars down to a mere $35 total. Thank you to the Maple Ridge Lighting team, and Gosha for her professional and friendly expertise. Highly recommended!
