I bought a Envelop desk and Embody chair from HM through Gabriel Ross on Feb 16, 2015. I submitted for a warranty repair in Sept 2017 because the desk top was warped, and the chair seat was damaged, and gas cylinder was not functioning properly. I was told on the HM website to take it to Gabriel Ross (dealer) in Victoria. After months of back and forth with GR, I took the chair and desk down to be repaired on Dec 6, 2017. The mat was replaced, but the end result was more pronounced warping on the desk. Dylan replaced the gas cylinder on the chair but the seat was not fixed because the the issue is that of 'customer preference' . Yes, I enjoy feeling the springs coming up through the seat and hitting my behind! Most comfortable! I was told by the Dylan F. @ Gabriel Ross (by phone, he never did meet me face to face) that he'd submit for the wood part of the desk to be replaced from HM. He never got back to me...He never even acknowledged my email to him thanking him for replacing the gas cylinder. Fast forward to Dec 2, 2017. I contacted HM by phone twice, email once, and twitter. The email was ignored, the phone calls I was told that they were 'looking into the matter' and would get back to me. Nothing. Twitter. "We will send this to our team." Nothing. Ask again. "You have to deal with Gabriel Ross. They told us they have been in contact you" No. They have not. Who is lying here? When you spend thousands of dollars on supposedly quality items you expect some follow through. Why promise a 12 year warranty, but not even have the courtesy to speak with your customer to sort out the problem? I may have been a repeat customer. In fact, I had plans to buy more from Gabriel Ross and HM, but after this clusterf**k of an experience, there is no way I would do that at this point. It is beyond frustrating to spend thousands of dollars and be treated so badly.

Just received my special order of Hans Wegner CH20 chairs! They arrived within the 10-12 week estimate - during the bustle of the holiday season no less. Thank you Gabriel Ross for making online ordering a quick and pain-free process! You should be considered Canada's go-to Design store - as ordering from you folks is easier than purchasing mass-produced furniture from furniture stores in Edmonton. Thank you for offering product that I can carry/live with for a lifetime. I look forward to my next order!

Gabriel Ross is the place to go in Victoria for contemporary high-end furniture and accessories. They have a keen sense of style and bring in a wide range of unique designs, making the showroom a treat to browse. The service was very professional and accommodating, and Robin was unfailingly helpful throughout.

We bought a Gus couch and the fabric was actually impossible to clean - even with water and a cloth! The stain that was left after a super gentle scrub was five times larger than the original mess. Now we have a sectional with a massive stain, but neither the manufacturer nor Gabriel Ross sent any cleaning instructions. Neither company would accept responsibility or offer assistance. They were both downright childish in their approach to passing the buck. Very disappointing. Next action is a letter to the BBB, because I really can't think of a better way to spend my time...

Ross, I certainly appreciate what you and your group add to the design landscape in Victoria – which would be bleak without you. Now that I live here, you will always be my first and best source for tasteful, modern furniture and style items. Thanks.
