Inside staff totally incompetent. Went 2 weeks ago to buy softener salt. Looked outside, none there. Asked cashier who said, Oh, yes,for sure it's out there. Paid for it, took slip out to yard. Yardman says they have been out of it for weeks and everybody inside knows that. Come back next week. Back in today, checked outside first and there it is. Went to cashier who couldn't find the code in her book and informs me that I have to carry the 40 pound bags in myself. No, this elderly lady is not carrying around 40 pound bags of salt. So she gives me a scrap of paper and a pen which doesn't work and I have to go back out and get a number off the bag, but she doesn't know where the number would be. Luckily I found one of the competent and helpful yard men who carried the bags in for me. On the whole they wasted a half hour of my time on each trip and a whole big chunk of my patience. Sick and tired of this place. Nobody inside can do their jobs and they expect customers to do it for them. Happens over and over.

It's an awful place to be, worker or customer. There's never enough staff and I know that's not exactly their problem if no one's applying, but it's a huge strain on the people working there. Shelves are a mess, there's freight all over the place that can't be unloaded because there aren't enough people. The people who shop here are generally okay but there's tons of jerks that come through every day and I'm embarrassed watching them tear into the poor cashiers who are doing their best.

will never step foot in this store again. Worst service and products ever. Ordered on line for my shower base and door products to come with destroyed boxes after waiting over an hour for help at customer service to even get them in the truck. Now, gave it a second chance and bought a "new" toilet online for pickup. Brought in home is see it was used with all boxes open inside and the toilet itself defective. Brought it back the next day. Waited half an hour to get help to get it out of my car while radios being ignored while i see the employee who put it in my car the day before eating chips looking at the black friday deals. Another customer seeing this left the line up to help me himself. Again waited in line up with a employee who did not know how to do a return. An hour later i finally returned a totally defective product. Unacceptable. Waste of my time.

Over priced on most items. Poor quality lumber as its stored outside. Freindly staff but most have little if any knowledge of even basic items. Usually only one casheir on. Not so freindly folks working at Contract desk. I live in Cobble Hill as a contractor but take the trip to Home Depot. Obvious poor management at Rona.
