I purchased a desk through the Victoria store in late Oct, 2017 was told expected delivery around Nov 30, 17. After waiting patiently for 71/2 weeks, on Dec 15, 17 I was told desk was damaged upon arrival at the store, I was offered 2 options, a full refund or reorder the desk, I had no choice but to reorder since I've already painted the office to a color which matched the desk and also bought sofa and other accessories based on the color of the desk, my request for express shipping was declined, I was told there's no express service for large packages, which is baloney since I myself have worked in the logistics business for more than 10 years, it's just a matter of who's willing to pay for the express shipping, in this case Chintz should have offered that for customer service sake, it's Jan 12, 2018 I'm still without a desk and all I got from Chintz is we have confirmation it's shipped but I don't have delivery date yet and for your trouble ( which I had to call and ask for ) we can offer you free delivery ( which I already paid $150 for ). During this whole experience no one offered any information, I literally had to email and call to get any info on my purchase. Completely and totally disappointed.

A very nice store. The reed diffuser section has a large selection and they have beautiful furniture.

Excessive profit margin, I found items they sell in other shops sold for less than half their price. A lot of their deco items are cheap, made in China stuff sold at ridiculous prices so, make sure you take a good look before you buy. Also, their customer service sucks. Their excuse for not taking responsibility for faulty items, is that they are a small, local business that cannot afford to replace faulty items. That doesn't fly with me, and I am not stepping foot in there again!

Although pricey, the goods here are of amazing quality! I always find myself dreaming of future home decor possibilities. Lovely store.

A bit trite? I had not been to Chintz in several years and remembered it fondly for the vast selection of high quality cotton fabrics and shabby chic furniture. My recent visit however, disappointed me with a smaller selection of material and tacky furniture. I did not think it was nearly as impressive as it had been in the past.
