I love the stuff at Demxx but they seem to ask exactly what things are worth (which is fair) but don't expect thrift store prices. We went looking for an interior door for a house were renting and fixing, and they wanted anywhere from $50-125+ for a decent door, all used. They did have a great selection of newer doors that were quite nice but not what I was looking for. Went to the re store in Nanaimo afterwards and bought a great door for $30 (which was one of their more expensive ones).

They were close and had what I needed right then.Paid a premium for convenience tho.

To be honest I love Demxx and would have awarded a 5, if it weren't for two different occasions my group and I were hurried off the premises 20 MINUTES BEFORE CLOSING by yard staff that were bent on being out of store by 5 when the doors close. Both times it resulted in purchases being left on the counter that were never made, and the first time had one of my friends so flustered that in the middle of it all she left her wallet sitting somewhere and we (including a very rude employee) were forced to spend MORE time looking for it. Good place for lots of things, Canadian Tire Staff are much friendlier come closing time.
