As always, the big box prices are competitive. Ted was a great help, though, being new, he was a little unsure on some of the things I was asking about. I asked him to leave a message with the tool attendant I usually try to deal with. Meanwhile the assistant manager Karen came by and made me feel like a crook for suggesting that Eric usually helps me out with getting the best deals possible. It seems to me that Eric has a better appreciation for customer loyalty from someone who buys thousands of dollars per year worth of tools alone, than Karen does. Not super impressed with the interaction.

I don't even know where to begin with the terrible customer service received by the home depot regarding receiving this patio furniture set damaged. Between the 8+ hrs spent on the phone, the customer service Rep giving me a false ups number which led me to a "win a free cruise scam" line, to eventually it being able to be returned in store, but when we arrived it was "sorry we can't do that, we're locked out, you're going to have to come back" eventually the customer service reps in store realized the ridiculous situation and were more helpful, but the hostile and snarky attitude from the get go was unnecessary. It eventually got to "we can offer you 10% off your next item for the inconvenience" Wow 10% off for 10+ hrs of my time! This item is back ordered and they can't replace it with an item with a similar non sale price. Really? Item has been returned and we will no longer be shopping at home depot. The customer service was atrocious, all 8+ reps we spoke with.

Came to the store 10 minutes before closing. Had a feeling they couldn't wait to get rid of all the customers in the store. The minute it hit 8 o'clock the lights where turned off doors locked. I couldn't get out had to walk all the way back to the other door as one of the employees just shrugged her shoulders and pointed to the other door when l couldn't get out. At least cashiers should inform the customers that one door is locked. I was not amused as my parcel was pretty heavy.

Didn't have inexpensive or a very good selection of laminate and had to leave the dog in the hot car and make it a quick trip because they don't allow pets in their establishment. From out of town so couldn't leave the dog at home three hours away. This store has gone downhill from when I used to live in Kelowna.

Best home depot I've been to. The manager is an A+ guy that's present cheery and helpful. That great attitude trickles down to all staff and creates what seems to be a happy environment. I always go here first for my hardware.
