Pretty stellar place for your analog photography needs, particularly in a city where each nook and cranny of the place--particularly Victoria's gentrified Chinatown--begs a photo to be taken. Only been here twice, during my week-long stay in Victoria. I would have to say that without a doubt their selection of analog goods, especially their film, is excellent. The staff that I've dealt with have mostly been friendly; however, the men seem to be somewhat aloof and maybe standoffish, though I could be reading their disposition incorrectly. I'd still give it a 4/5 since most specialty stores have that air about it, with Calgary's The Camera Store not being an exception.

Everything any photographer needs for second-hand gear. Film and lenses to filters and lights. Got a good deal on a new to me 650D Canon.

I never feel intimidated going in and asking loads of questions! The staff here always make me feel welcomed. Overall great place with knowledgeable staff. Bonus points for having a neat space, as well.

Stuff here is very knowledgeable! They helped me with my film camera shutter that got stuck while I still have unfinished roll inside camera.

HONEST HONEST HONEST I have been coming here for over ten years. The owner is usually the one that you will see there. He has had the change to fleece me of a few hundred bucks and instead said "you should sell that on eBay, you will get way more than I can give you" AND he's knowledgeable AF. AND AND he is chill. If it's not crazy busy in the shop, this guy will chew the fat with you on any ideas or questions you have. Just buy something.... sometime.
