Beautifully designed lights just aren’t long lasting and most electricians can’t install them. I hired one of the top electricians in my area and he explained to me all the problems tech lights. We spent $1000 on lights only to return them. Designed beautifully just don’t work well.

Nicely designed products - I got Unilume undercabinet lighting for my kitchen cabinets. You pay a hefty premium for Tech Lighting products, and if the installation was a breeze and the customer service great, it *might* be worth it. But they don't respond to customer service emails. One of the screws on a splice adapter cover stripped when I tried to get the cover off. And they're apparently uninterested in that the screw was soft metal (which stainless typically is) or that it was torqued into the cover way too tight to begin with. I had to get the distributor I bought the lights from to reach their tech support, and the curt response was that it was a #1 Phillips screw you can buy at any hardware store. No, you cannot buy this at any hardware store, I'm still looking for some specialty fastener place that can supply it. Pretty sure the flippant response also overlooked that there are different thread counts per inch so I'll probably have to buy one of each type before I have a replacement that fits. This place is just not worth the trouble (and price) IMHO. -------- Update, 4 weeks later (how long it took to special order #1 screws). It is definitely not #1 screws, I had to buy 2 different types because there are 2 different thread pitches, and these aren't even close to fitting. Stay far away from this place
