I highly recommend Hortons Lighting, 1617 N Clybourn Ave, Chicago. A few years back we needed lights for our condo. The staff at Hortons helped us build a track system that included track heads and a very pretty pendant that we picked out. We had it installed, and it looked great and worked well. Recently the pendant light fell out (my fault), and Hortons was extremely helpful to make suggestions for the repair and re-train me how to remove and replace the lights on the track. I had forgotten how to remove and place each light on the track, so when they offered to show me how to do it with their in-store system, I took them up on it. It was great! I appreciate the excellent customer service I received years after making my initial purchase from Hortons (especially from Missy and Elene). Hortons has beautiful lights and a great staff. Support local small businesses like Hortons in their Lincoln Park store!!

We went there to select a ceiling fan and a light fixture. The staff was very helpful, providing details on the items under consideration. That was really helpful in making our decision. When a slight delay arose in delivery of one item, we were quickly notified and provided updated information. That small gesture was truly appreciated.

Anyone looking for nice high quality light fixtures should definitely stop at Hortons. They have a great selection in-store and in their catalog. The staff is very knowledgeable and goes out of their way to make sure you get what you’re looking for. They have excellent relationships with their suppliers, so they can get just about anything you might want. In addition, they’re only a block northwest of a Red Line stop.

It was only happenstance that we went to Horton's. The other lighting stores were closed on Sundays. A quick google search later, we found Horton's . It is open Sundays. Yea! The in-store experience was exceptional. Great service. The staff really knows the details on the fixtures AND installation and operation tips. Including information on manufacturers, volts, amp, wattage etc. right down to color temperature. I redid my home and ordered bathroom light fixtures and wall scones. All arrived at the store as promised and they are exquisite . I went back for bedroom sconces and my dining room light fixture. Same great service. Later purchased a light fixture for my dining area and again the service was great. Will never buy anything like this on line or from a box store again.
