Dear Rona, the reason why I gave you two stars is because you're a good place to look when the quality hardware stores are out of stock. Rona often has items that are sold out at other stores bc it is so painful to shop there. Rona, you appear to have just as many staff as the other guys, but you should try getting them to work instead of socializing with each other. This comment is based on multiple reps at your store. Your store needs stronger - and present - managers who ensure that customers are being helped. Also lower prices would help bc your prices are higher than everyone else.

Price match "guarantee" = weaksauce. They won't look at a website for the price, insist on choosing which store they call and the store MUST have it in stock, even if it's a regular price. Probably doesn't help when the staff acts like I'm trying to take their firstborn when I simply ask them to price their products competitively. Used to link supporting Canadian but with lousy customer service like this, it really doesn't inspire much loyalty.

Great service, friendly staff, Military discount, in the words of a manager when dealing with a difference between between an on-line ad and their computer system (Pricing issue) his comment was, "give the discounted price, we are out to make friends of our customers ". Awesome. Thanks

Customer service/acknowledgment at this particular location is terrible. Customers are trying to answer each other's questions while employees ignore them and socialize with each other. The employees in the door/window dept are remarkably bad for this.

The worst store ever. Waited in an aisle for over 30 minutes to get help. In the meantime, the cashier tried paging for help - despite 3 attempts, nobody turns up. All this while, I could see staff standing in groups of 3 or 4 - chatting & having fun. Tried walking up to them, but as soon as they spot you, they walk away. Obviously, they have mastered the art of avoiding customers! Finally, managed to get some help after waiting another 15 minutes to talk to a very rude customer service rep.
