I am shocked. I just got back from the store and have never received such poor service or been treated so poorly in a place of business. We are building a house and required to use Capital Lighting. We were told Capital Lighting would reach out to us. They never did. After we reached out to them they sent us our lighting package only after we escalated it to our builder. We picked all our lighting and then tried to reach back out. We got no response. We were never offered an appointment either which we were told we should have had. I stopped into the store and the store worker told me no one would help me other than this one very busy person who doesn’t call back or respond to email. I am scared about getting my lights thru them now. We are spending nearly 10,000 with them and I have zero confidence. I wish I could explain how rude the lady was. I asked would anyone in the store be willing to help - no, no no was her answer. Then I called and explained my experience and asked how to escalate it. I was told “I’ll forward you to account management” and was put into Sheila’s voicemail. The shocking thing is this is a fancy place. I did not expect this AT ALL.

Fast, friendly staff. Great selection, decent pricing. The service is worth the slightly higher prices.

Great selection of custom lighting that really stands out compared to bigger box stores. Sales people are reasonably knowledgable but customer service is not their strong suit. Feels like they are understaffed and constantly helping many customers at one time.

I built a home which contracts with Capital Lighting. Wendy was the employee we were assigned. We had several problems: 1) We had to wait 2 months for back-ordered items after moving in. 2) One of the light fixtures we ordered was actually discontinued (at the time of ordering), but we were never notified of that. 3) Extremely poor communication/customer service. I attempted to communicate with MULTIPLE employees via phone AND email with little to NO responses. Wendy never responded to an email at one point for over a month (regarding both back-ordered item status & missing/"discontinued" fixture). 4) I finally got my lights in, but during installation they blew the light fixture on the fan and 4 months later, it is still NOT working. 12/18/18 I contacted Wendy AGAIN and they were not made aware by their employees this needed repaired. I set up an appointment for today (1/16/19) at 10AM to get that light installed... per the usual it is now NOON. No call. No show. Thank you for your response. You still did not make it at "your " 12:30 time. It was around 1:30PM.
