I spent over 5 thousand on lighting at the lamp post. Initially the experience was positive and the employee came with me to my house to insure I had all the lighting accounted for. However. I ordered my lights in January and when I picked them up in April and paid for everything I get to my house and realize there are 3 fans totalling almost 400 dollars missing. The guy tells me they had originally been there and he doesn't know what happened to them. They are on back order it will be 4-6 weeks before they're in. I get a refund and go buy fans at Kent. A couple hours later my electrician tells me a vanity light is faulty so I bring it back and they thankfully have a replacement in Stock. The next day I find that a chandelier which had been installed for one day was starting to flicker and singe the casing....again faulty and a big chandelier. I bring it back...no apology to offer to get more quickly...it will be 4-6 weeks for a replacement. I tell the guy my inspection is that week. He does not tell me I can pay more to get it there quickly or even offer to do it. Fast forward a couple weeks later and my painter and plasterers break a pendant light. I am devastated and this particular light is hard to get so I head back to the lamp post to tell them...it will be 2-3 weeks and it is still weeks for my chandelier. At this point I ask if I can pay more to get it more quickly. Yes in fact I could but both lights have left the warehouse so they will still be 3 weeks in getting her. So now I have lights paid for and I am moving in a house with smashed lights and a random light bulb where a huge chandelier is supposed to be and no help what so ever despite the huge sum I paid in full up front. I will never go back and I don't recommend it.

Great selection through their catalogs of the companies they sell for. Customer service upon selecting and purchasing lights was good. However, every light we have ordered through them they have never told us if certain lights required very hard to find or expensive bulbs, and frustratingly, they do not tell you that most of their lighting does not come with instructions. The latest fixture we were about to install was not even in the right box, so we couldn't even look up the company who sold it initially or the SKU from the company to track down the instructions. So frustrating!
