Owen and Candice are great hosts. They treat you like family and appreciate the business that we give them every year. They keep their cottages and property clean and it overlooks a beautiful lake that you can discover during your entire stay. I definitely recommend staying at their resort.

Had a wonderfully tranquil and relaxing time at Northern Lights Resort. Did some fishing and just relaxing on the dock. So peaceful up there. I highly recommend anyone who wants to get away from busy life to check it out. The cabins were the perfect size. The owners were lovely and so helpful! They also have paddle boards and kayaks etc that are free to use which was really nice. Definitely going back next year, might even sneak in a fall visit!

I wish it were possible to give these fine folks and their resort MORE than 5 stars! We were extremely happy with absolutely everything about the resort. From the time we arrived until the time we sadly had to leave our experience was very positive. Owen and Candice went way beyond to ensure that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We felt safe, secure and in fact never felt the need to lock the door to our cabin. Unlike many other resorts we didn't feel nickle and dimed at the time of checkout. Apart from our worms and a bit of gas, it was an all inclusive offering. We chose one of the newest boats the resort had to offer which came complete with rod holders, live well, and fishfinder. The upgrade was more than reasonable and very much appreciated. I had read a review previous that stated that didn't depict the current owners at all. I'm very glad we didn't put much stock into the one review on here. We look forward to our next stay and next and next. Book and enjoy with confidence

My group has been going to Northern Lights Resort annually for a number of years now. The layout and location is secluded yet welcoming - a perfect spot for a weekend getaway or a family week long vacation. The endless water, picturesque shorelines and fishing opportunities have kept us coming back each year! The improvements that are being done to the resort under the new ownership (Owen and Candice) are quite impressive. Upon arrival this year, they welcomed our party very professionally and appreciated our business - they made our stay exactly what we were looking for (the walleye, bass and pike fishing did too!). The cabins were clean with all amenities provided, and functioned perfectly. For us, this trip has become a tradition and our anticipation grows each year! Can't wait for the next trip! Thank you Owen and Candice!

This resort used to be a great one. We went for several years. But the new owners were awful. We found them unprofessional and even immature. They complained continuously about the resort like it was a burden to them physically and financially. They have a lot to learn when it comes to serving their customers. The husband Owen's language and behaviour in front of all the cottagers was unacceptable and the wife was no where to be found most of the time. We miss the previous owners as they were attentive and professional. THey treated their guests as their top priority. They made sure we had what we needed and were safe at all time. I am sad to say our years at this resort are over.
