We were more than pleased dealing with Peter in home appliances! His customer service was second to none. We arrived at the store after being throughly disappointed by the Home Depot in Waterloo. Within 10 in minutes in the appliances department he was able help us and guide us to our purchase. Great job! Waterloo Home Depot lost the sale tonight. Will not go back to that particular location!

Friendly, knowledgeable staff who are available to help you. I am pleased with faucet. He helped me choose the finish and features I wanted and worked in my price range. There were no pressure tactics.

Needed some carpet by the foot and was screwed by all the other Home Depots in the area. (they said they had lots and had none) I called this location and spoke with John in flooring who was excellent. He listened to me and went out of his way to ensure that the carpet I needed was in stock. He cut it and left it for me at the flooring desk and I was able to pick it up in the evening. The evening staff were awful and all looked stoned. Thank goodness for John!

It's one thing to provide the option of self check out. Eliminating those jobs entirely and leaving customers with no option other than self checkout is a solid way to lose my business. This is a clear message from Home Depot that they care more about their bottom line than our community. I'm happy that I have alternatives that still provide cashiers.
