This home depot is hit and miss when it comes to customer service. I've had great experiences and really poor experiences. In the end, the employees have to refer to the "big orange book" of customer service and take care of you whether they want to or not. If you really want to get professional advice and talk to someone who knows the store back to front, go speak with Rick in flooring. If you're looking for good appliance advice, no one beats Mitch. She will help you find exactly what you're looking for at the best price.

It's always good going there. Most people of their staff knows me & I feel like an old friend. And I always find whatever I'm looking for.

Horrible customer service, worse website. Worst experience I've ever had. They had a deal on where if you buy a barbeque it would be assembled and delivered for free. I called customer service and they said the deal was for the previous week. To get the free delivery, as I wouldnt be able to fit it in my car, I ordered off their website. It was the Weber Genesis II E-310 and a cover for it. They did a test charge for $1 prior to charging the full amount. My Visa flagged this transaction so I had to call Home Depot to process it again. It went through fine and I recieve an email saying it is being shipped. The next day I recieve an email stating my order has been modified and I am only being shipped the barbecue cover. Great what do I need a cover for with no barbeque? I call customer service to cancel the barbecue cover. They say it can take 24 to 48 hours and issue me a ticket number. I drive to the home depot where I ordered it from to just purchase it and try to get it in my car. Turns out this whole ordeal could have been avoided as the assembled and delivered deal was still on. As I look at the floor models I realize the model they have there and the one they where suppose to ship me are different. The actual one in store is the older model where the stock photo online is the new one. I even cross referenced the model number on their site (the same one that is on the tag in store) with Weber's site to ensure it was the newer one I would be receiving. On top of this my Visa still had the entire $1200 purchase on it with no refund for the barbecue. I point out all of this to the staff member (I asked to speak with a manager right off the get go) and was told "I dont know what you want me to do" and "That's a problem between you and Home Depot" funny that's where I thought I was. I said I want the money for the barbeque you arnt shipping me refunded and if it takes longer then what the assembled and delivered deal was on for I wanted it honored. I was told it wouldnt be. I will never order anything online from Home Depot again and will hopefully never have to return to their store.

This particular store has improved a lot over the past few years for customer service. In the past, I would walk every aisle trying to find someone to put me in the right direction, assist me to reach something, or even just to find a cart. More recently, the customer service has been much better, with staff going out of their way to find someone to help if they did not have the information I needed. They also have taken more time to help me decide which item would be best for the task at hand.

Home Depot is a great place to shop. You can find pretty much whatever it is that you are looking for at any home Depot location. Ifind that home Depot is someone pricier down their competition, but when it comes to the quality of their tools, there are certain things that you can find at home Depot that you cannot find elsewhere. You get what you pay for, so if you're looking for good quality tools, this is the place to go.
