I worked there. It's a horrible place to work as the owners don't care about their staff at all. The staff themselves are good people and some of them work extremely hard but that is never acknowledged. Everything is always negative. Unless you are a customer buying something you will never be given the time of day. I hope one day all this changes for customers and definitely staff. It's not easy to find good people and when you do you should do everything you can to keep them. Customers complain and that's all it was all day long. Some staff would complain as well as they were disrespected and that's not what makes a business successful. If a zero could be given it would be. It's very sad that this is coming from an ex employee/customer.

Love it here!! We come in with an idea and talk to the staff then they walk with me all over the store coming up with ideas to get it done!! Helped with the deck, fence, hot tub cover and so much more!! They have ordered in things for me and returning is never a problem. So lucky to have this store close as some weekends we are there 4 times 😀

Yesterday I was finally able to find the fittings required to install my water softener and water filter. It amazes me that the DIY stores who sell this stuff don’t carry the parts necessary to install them. The new Alliston Home Hardware carries the install kits and a variety of reducer fittings. Finally!

They didn't have a rare plumbing part, but the staff helped me for awhile and he really seemed to know a lot. Good experience, 5 stars for the staff and and 4 for the building/ parking lot

Calling out Kevin specifically at the contractors desk. This guy is easily the biggest grade A douche bag I’ve ever had the misfortune of speaking/working with. Not only is he rude and disrespectful on the phone, he has no problem being rude and disrespectful to your face. The younger guy, James, obviously he is picking up on Kevin’s lack of customer service and general human interaction skills but he’s a little more tolerable than Kevin himself. Go anywhere BUT this home hardware location for your products, trust me, you’ll be saving yourself some serious headaches.
