What can i say...its home depot. Certainly not your traditional hardware store where knowledgeable staff get you what you need and give advice with service you can respect...its a warehouse of stuff. Find what you need if you can and pay. Dont ask too many questions or expect to be treated like a valued customer. Its home depot.

Very good store and very helpful staff. Everyone there is very pleasant and enjoyable to deal with. Michael in plumbing/electrical has been very helpful since the start of my reno. Alyssa, at cash, is always very pleasant and smily. Guys in the rental centre and pro desk are great as well. I feel like I'm doing an Oscar's acceptance speech! Actually I haven't had a bad experience with anyone there. Sometimes it is hard to find a staff member to help me (I'm kinda needy) but that would be my only complaint.

You won't have an easy time getting help. Some staff will simply turn around whenever someone gets in their vicinity. In kitchens & appliancea you will very likely be told what to buy, with real disregard for your own opinions. And they spend a lot of time with one customer so if it isn't you, then you will be waiting... forever. On the positive side, 1/2 dozen staff are FANTASTIC and they carry most of the weight of the slackers.

I ordered my custom cabinets through them. Everything worked out amazing. Derek is the greatest. He took his time with me during our design consultations, and I never felt rushed. He has great ideas, and you can tell he is experienced and enjoys his work. He takes into account what you are looking for and tries his best to make it all work. My biggest concern (hearing horror stories from other big name stores like this) was that there would be delays, and I'd be left waiting without a kitchen well passed an expected delivery date. Everything came in exactly on schedule, and the process worked out extremely well. Very happy! Thank you.
