Great staff and knowledgeable. I have been there for lighting and plumbing stuff. Dont understand the negative reviews so I can only imagine the 'negative' reviews are from the competition such as living lighting and other stores that sell similar items in the area. Older gentleman in the back with the parts is a wealth of knowledge as well and friendly. I recommend this store.

I purchased a toilet from them last November -- they pushed me towards the Toto Aquia II one piece, citing its better engineering and ease of cleaning. I paid $799 + tax. This was possibly the worst purchase I have ever made. The water level in the toilet bowl is so low that it remains dirty after every use. I checked with Toto directly that perhaps there was a problem with the water level -- they told me that it was correct and recommended that I use a toilet brush after every use! Furthermore, after it clogged and I tried to use a plunger, I found out that there is no standard plunger (or any plunger!) that fits over the square hole, making it virtually impossible to unclog. The staff at Electrical and Plumbing should know better and they steered me to an inferior product. I will never purchase anything at their store again. I did later install another bathroom in my basement and I purchased an American Standard from Home Depot for $250 -- and it works perfectly. Don't waste your time, effort or money on supposed experts at a specialty store like Electrical and Plumbing.

Was able to get specialty lightbulbs here that I could find nowhere else. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure I got the bulbs I needed, including ordering extras for me and phoning me twice to let me know they were available. Also was impressed by the beautiful bathroom fixtures, and salesperson was patient, not pushy. I will be going back.

Never put your feet in that store, a bunch of thieves. They charged me $45 a faucet part that they got for free from the manufacturer and at another occasion they wanted to charge me $5.99 for a fuse that I later bought a couple of blocks farther for $1.20.

Lots of lights to choose from but no assistance was offered. Not even a "hello"
