I've now used Holloways Of Ludlow twice to fully fit out a flat as well as a house in London with their lights. I haven't managed to find a more thorough and comprehensive collection of beautiful lights anywhere else online, curated with taste and clarity and priced fairly (from cheap and affordable to ridiculously opulent). I've met Mark Holloway and he's always been polite, straightforward and very helpful. You get the feeling that he and his staff genuinely care about what they sell and they have chosen classy, high quality products. Be careful visiting their shop because you'll end up buying more than you intended (especially watch out for their Scandi-style furniture)! James B

Really poor service from both the kitchen and lighting departments. After two kitchen email enquiries with no response we tried going into the shop on a weekend. The assistant was lovely and we briefly discussed our requirements, after which she took our details. Yet again no follow up from them. The lighting shop isn't any better. Firstly its split between two separate premises (which makes no sense) and with one new member of staff left on her own, and a few customers on the day we went, the result is lots of waiting around and lack of product knowledge. We asked her to confirm the colour of one display item to be told it was brass and subsequently checking in the other store (we weren't confident in the first response) only to be told it was bronze! Have a few friends who are renovating their houses and have told them to steer well clear of Holloways of Ludlow. Go to Plain English for your kitchen. Much better in every aspect.

Nice people and nice products but shabby business practise - over 6 weeks delivery for a product they said was in stock, and repeatedly said was a matter of days away.
