Absolutely great. Any age and taste in entertainment will enjoy this. Most of the show is great. Certain parts like the unfurling of the provincial flags was spectacular. Folding chairs would be best but a blanket works too especially if the bottom part is waterproof 😉. Serious students and scholars of Canadian history should probably just block their ears and just enjoy the visuals.

Great show. Gives a brief timeline on Canadian history... focusing on Confederation and on. Plays the national anthem at the end, and without any other prompt the crowd stands. It's a bit emotional to see that healthy level of Canadian patriotism. I would recommend this show.

Pretty good experience overall. Based upon comments overheard during presentation, sounded like a wonderful show. Only after the show finished, did I realize that I was facing the wrong way. By the way, great "off-Broadway" show on Friday night called shadows on the lawn. It's runs at the same time as the Northern Lights Sound and Light. Check it out!

Seen the light show the past few years and it's pretty great. Wanted to go see it tonight but the weather's iffy. Tweeted at the capital experience twitter asking if it was still happening. THEY NEVER RESPONDED. Can't give five out of five stars because of this. Maybe use your social media more to communicate with loyal candian patrons of the show so I'm not left waiting and confused. Still go see it if it's nice out though.

A few things struck me about the Northern Lights on Parliament hill besides how incredible it was. With several thousand people there and many hundreds of children of varying ages, even though it was late, you couldn't hear a peep. Plus, how many countries could you see such a show on the lawn of the building, open to the public in which the government conducts its business. Amazing show!
