I absolutely love this store! Kidd's is by far the best hardware store I've ever set foot into. They always have plenty of friendly, knowledgeable staff on hand that can help with almost any type of problem. The service desk is always well staffed, I've never had to wait more than a couple of minutes. They stand 100% behind all of their products, and have no problem with exchanges on over-purchases. On several occasions they have dropped items off at the cottage without any up-front payment! Walking in there is like walking through a time warp into a 1950's T.V. show with an idealized Utopian small town general store where people trust each other know everyone by name. Many of the staff are also contractors and can help with projects, helping you pick the right materials, and know the local building codes. If I need any help at the cottage, they have contacts for just about any type of service and have never steered me wrong. I really cant say enough about how great this store is. I love walking in there. Big box stores cant hold a candle to these guys. When you go to the yard to pick up wood, the guys in the back are great, friendly, patient, and don't make you feel like your bothering them. The front end clerks are very friendly, efficient, and make an effort to ensure that you are not over-charged.
